  1. Still pushing me out of mobile version showing me logged in as some one else. Certain forums take me back into mobile, others do not.
  2. Just unpacked my first Ci4+. Besides for enough grease in the bearings to style all the hair in Mad Men, the thing is butta'. I can definitely see myself with another one or 2 of these in the arsenal. Awesome , awesome, awesome. Spring can't get here soon enough.
  3. On R2S site they're $36.74. Nothing is available right now. That price jump is quite big from the smaller version. I do not know anyone that has one or fished it.
  4. The RES shimmy on the fall is what makes it killer, not so much the moving action. I like Chili Craw and Sexy shad.
  5. Maybe this game show host wrote that article.
  6. According to info from another forum source. Late Spring 2014 the 200's should be restocked. I'm unsure of this Pike color, I saw this on R2Sea Europes facebook.

  9. New S-waver 200 in Pike coming out.
  10. Not yet, but it will be Enjoy your new reel buddy! Mine will be here tomorrow. This will be my 9th or 10th Shimano and they keep getting better.
  11. you should email them. They may just take care of that for you.
  12. I drove by AJay's house....this is what I saw.
  13. I have a Mojo 7'4 S-glass for mid to deep diving cranks and I just got the 705cb Glass rod during winter. I prefer glass rods for the forgiveness especially if you have a tendency to set the hook like Hulk. Being that I fish a lot of slop and weedy lakes, I'm always driving the hook pretty hard so the glass rods have helped compensate there for my mistake habits. For me, they've kept a lot of fish buttoned up where as if I was using a graphite stick I may have lost some. I like the whippy action for launching baits too. I haven't used the Dobyns yet, but it is certainly one of the lightest glass rods I've ever picked up and it just feels good in my hands. I think it really boils down to preference and how you fish so it may require trying both out at some point.
  14. It's good.....but for the cost of one stick to a regular hollowbody swimbait like SK Shadalicous, Yum Money minnow or anything like that. The Hudd is a nice bait but there is nothing about it that excels over other hollowbody brands. The one and only I had was bitten off by a pike. I won't buy anymore. my $.02
  15. It only seemed right.
  16. My first car in 1997 was an '82 Ford Escort wagon that was poop brown in color. Nicknamed "The Turd" It had only an AM radio and front 4" speakers. The only power option it had was power steering I believe. It was my grandmas and after she passed I got it for free. She had a whopping 28K miles on it...(yes 28K) I loved the crap out of that car even though it was an abomination on wheels. The fate of the car was my brother smashing into a telephone pole and shattering his ankle. Glad he survived but he killed my car.. After that I was granted the awesomeness of an 86' Ford Escort hatch back (4 speed..vroom vroom). It was originally red, but it was so sun bleached it was more like a nasty orange color. nickname "The Hemorrhoid" That one set my dad back a whopping $325. To me it was free, never said a word. With that said, spend 2 or 3 grand and keep $8K for college or something more important. You have a lifetime ahead of you to work for whatever you want. I'll see if I can find pics of these 2 beauties I had and post them. I don't think I do though.
  17. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/130523-fantasy-fishing-2014/ I joined this one in the link. If you guys set up another relay the info.
  18. I use KVD conditioner on both PP and 832. It definitely softens the coating faster. After its softened up to where I like it, I don't use conditioner that often, as I don't really see much of a benefit. It really doesn't take long for either braid to limber up to where it should be. 1 or 2 outings of frogging for me has it in prime shape just the way I like the braid to be. In the end KVD LL isn't going to harm your braid, at least not that I'm aware of and I've been using it for years. Its like Frank's Red Hot Sauce, "I put that shizz on everything."
  19. Yes it is. It will soften up really nice. I use both PP and 832, but I prefer 832 in the long run.....just not the price tag sometimes.
  20. Which lures are you talking about specifically or just in general? Their stuff is fair priced and I don't mind spending a few extra bucks becuase you don't have to upgrade hooks and rings on these. A lot of $4-5 cranks need upgrading out of the package or it's at least recommended by many. The frogs/mice are top notch and great to have in your box. They're my go to frog and see 95% of my froggin' slop action. Nice sharp hooks. The cranks are very detailed, run true, and have quality components. I just picked up some poppers to try for the first time but I imagine they're great too. The baitball series doesn't interest me because I fish more bluegill/bream and craw pattern lures than I do minnow/shad. Have not tried their jerkbaits in any of the series, I'm sure they're great. Buy with confidence if it interests you.
  21. Booty, that reel looks pretty slick with that handle.
  22. Probably none. Buying a new water heater, the rest to bills and college funds for my boys. If there's enough left over a DX might show up some where but I doubt it. Maybe something nice for my better half to keep things cool and calm.
