Perch you'll want anything from UL to a Medium Light spinning set up on light line and gear. You could virtually use the same for smallies, but if you hook into a beast you'll have a heck of a fight on hand. The heavier your gear is for Perch, the less fun it will be, unless you're strictly looking for dinner and you don't care about having fun or not. My father-in law has a boat in Burnham. I have never fished in the marina or just outside of it. We go trolling for salmon on his boat. The guys I do see fishing the break walls and such, I rarely see them pulling anything up. Maybe they don't know what they're doing or maybe it's just not a great spot. Some one else might be able to shed different light on it for you. There are huge carp in the marina so if you like that sort of thing, that's an option. You can't fish inside the docks just so you know. Good luck and post some results this year.

Were you logged in your account while you placed the order? If not and you checked out as guest, it will not reflect an order to your account with them but still would be processed.. I have had that happen in the past on an order or 2 from them. Could be the issue but who knows. Hope it gets sorted out for you.

Between Slonezp and WayneP they are hands down some of the most knowledgeable "boat/electronics" guys on these forums. You're in good hands with them. I'd research some of their past postings with similar discussions as you may find answers with in that may help you even further. As far as Slonezp fishing skills....that I'm unsure of.

To expand on what's been said, I didn't send you to that link to be a jerk. I realize that you're new here and probably overlooked it. There are some of the most informative posts and article reads among this site that I have ever read. I've learned more in 1 year of being a part of this community than I had in 10 years of "figuring" it out myself. At this point, I feel I am light years above where I would be, had I never taken the time to read through the info posted here. Grab a drink and some snacks and start reading. Once you still can't find an answer, just ask. In time you will know which reads are based off hard facts and water time, and which are merely just "opinions". Tight lines!

40 and sunny here. Too bad we got 7" yesterday on top of the 15" laying down. I was hoping this quick warm up would at least reduce the snow masses but probably not too much. Mother nature hates us right now.

As long as what you turn in is functional, they will accept it. I traded in a couple junk Shakespeare stuff from over a decade ago and credited it towards $150-$200 rods and reels at the time.
