  1. 832 camo for froggin. 832 low vis green on my spinning reels and moving bait setups. This year on my pitching and punch gear I'm trying hivis pp in yellow. I like 832 the best but PP works great too and considerably cheaper.
  2. Merry Christmas everyone. Travel safe!
  3. Whether they do or not, lizards catch bass. I use them here and there in Wisconsin, and to my knowledge there are no lizard species there and they get bit plenty. Fire away!
  4. Getting on the water more. I can't practice anything without doing that. If I get a SI unit I'll probably focus my season on utilizing that tool. Drop shot is still my biggest weakness solely based off the "slow" factor.
  5. I enjoy your reports Will. Always a pleasure to read and see the nice smallies you catch. Tight lines!
  6. The options to "share" your video has a short link that will embed the video. Copy paste..done
  7. Just copy and paste the short link from you tube on your post. It auto embeds it. If you post the url it will not.
  8. Small joint called 100 South in Elmhurst IL. I believe it is no longer but their steaks were amazing. Aged, big, and grilled to perfection. There sides of garlic mashed potatoes could feed an army. They made a mean lobster tail as well. I stand corrected. Still around and will be going soon! http://100southchophouse.com/
  9. I have plans to upgrade at some point. I wanted to take care of my electronics first and then upgrade to either Terrova or Maxxum. The other thing I hate about my V2 is the shaft is way too long. Especially since I fish a lot of water 4' or less. If I keep it for another few seasons I'm going to shorten the shaft.
  10. I own a powerdrive V2 70#. I'm on my 3rd pedal in 5 seasons. They're junk and the contact points on the circuit board go bad fast. Especially if dirt or sand gets in there. I'd bet that's the issue. MK really dropped the ball on that pedal and what's worse is they continue to make them.
  11. Scan Disk, Kingston, Patriot. Just make sure they're class 10. I'd get 32g or bigger. Check Amazon often.
  12. Get some mend it and fix your plastics when the day is done. It'll save you some cash.
  13. It's a good thing that's the PG version you posted.
  14. I use a Curado 300 DSV. I prefer the low profile over a round reel because I have smaller hands. it's easier for me to grip and be comfortable with. I've never used a newer Curado 300, but I'd imagine it would be a great fit too.
  15. My new whippy stick. me --> <---- bass T minus 5 months until I can use it.
  16. Let me know if you need road trip gear.
  17. Looks good man.
  18. If I ate that, i'd be circling the lake looking for an outhouse about an hour into my trip. You must have a cast iron stomach or the convenience of the toon to drop bombs when you want. No wonder the water you fish is always so d**n murky...
  19. Frog Turds aka Dirty Pig convinced me into a Dobyns purchase. Before that I have all St. Croix rods. I also finally bought a Pro Qualifier because I wanted another frog reel at high speed without breaking the bank. They got enough praise here from reliable users that I had to get one. If it sucks next season, I'll put it up on the flea for someone. I think I'll be happy I got it, so far it feels good. Other things like JJ's, Megastrike, Mag 44 lure retriever, and Siebert jigs were all discovered through BR for me.
  20. I do the same and have tried to convert. It's more or less controlling the rod and the actions in my left hand is more comfortable. Don't fix what isn't broken I suppose.
