Big Thank You!
Not too shabby...nice fish! Congrats! And I'd also like to say thank you to everyone on here. I just started at the end of last summer and I know I have a long way to go but I feel like I've learned so much in the past several months. Thank You Bass Resource Mods/Members!

Maryland's Who's who!
I went out too. Got to the lake around 5:15 am. Expected the sun to rise at 6 and warm things up a bit so I just wore shorts, a t-shirt and a light hoodie. Big mistake. It stayed cloudy and like you said the wind was terrible. The bite was slow and the wind was relentless so after about an hour and a half I decided to call it a day.

Nice Brownie Today...
Nice fish! Whenever I catch a trout I'm always surprised by the fight the have in them. Especially those big browns.

Think I Saw My First Bass Bed
Very interesting. Would have preferred it if there were a big fat momma bass sitting there but its good to know what I should be looking for. Thank you sir.

Think I Saw My First Bass Bed
Thanks Tom. As for the size, it was about a foot and a half, maybe 2 feet in diameter. And I do always see a couple heron walking around in the shallows.

Accidental Crappie
Nice! I had a small bluegill take a swipe at my crankbait today right at the bank. He couldn't have been much more than 2 inches bigger than the bait. Didn't hook him but he was an ambitious little guy.

Crank Baits
PapaJoe gave you good advice. Aside from that, if you remember the brands/models, you can look them up on the BPS or *** website. They should have the diving depth listed.
