I'm staring at my ceiling and whistling .

There was a buzzbait bite going on this morning .

I tried finding this but to no avail . How many anglers will be cut in 2022 ? and how will they be selected . I speculate Those with legendary status such as Clunn will be exempt .

I'm watching the weather right now . Tomorrow I have an opportunity to go but we have been having a lot of rain and storms , one after another . The bass are going to be shallow , the lake a little high with the green stuff a foot under the surface . I expect it to be a slobber knocker with spinnerbaits or buzzbaits as long as the storms keep away .

Yes I have . LOL I'm sitting on the front bench and have the motor on the side 3/4 of the way to the bow . The boat doesn't go straight but its much easier to position then mounted on the stern . Theres a main screw that can be taken out , then turn the head 180 degrees . I get a lot of funny looks and people asking me why .

Time on the water . I started fishing way before the internet and read a lot of magazines . I guess my reading comprehension isnt too good because I just play it by ear . I think I know what the bass are up to , until I get on the water .

Basstrakk was showing that a bunch of these guys have been checking in . When they are out of cel range it shows they havent checked in . Must have been a glitch .

If a bass hits a white or chartreuese then it probably hit a duller color too .

I have caught a lot of river smallies with spinnerbaits . I dont have to downsize either . They will hammer a half ouncer .

I would go out and buy the best made rod and reel I can find . As far as combos I already have had it would be a Piscifun Phantom and a 7 foot mh Okuma Epixor . I love that combo . The reel is butter smooth and the rod handles half ounce baits accurately and effortlessly .

That rascally Palaniuk is trying to sneak in this thing .

I still carry a camera and a little 6 inch flexible tripod . I set the timer for 10 seconds , then try to get in the frame . I've gotten pretty good at it and I both lip or hold the bass two handed .

17 ln Trilene xl is hard to break and its only .015 inches in diameter . I finally started carrying a piece of wood to wrap it around and still have a difficult time . It was reformulated a few years back and its something else . I use to throw 14 Stren a lot and it was easy to break .

Something doesnt seem quite right . Jamie Hartman and Corey Johnson are also blanking and Basstrac has them checking in .

Yes . I lost a HAWG at LOZ two years ago . Had it at the boat and was in the process of lipping her then the hook just came out . I did everything perfect . Felt the tap , dropped the rod , reeled in the slack , then socked it to her . Upon inspection the hook didnt even exit the worm .

A fun tournament to watch . I missed it yesterday . Zaldain and Ito are, in my opinion , the most entertaining anglers to watch and they are showcased today .

With weeds 6 inches below the surface , a spinnerbait and buzzbait should be able to be fished over it . I catch a lot of bass with them in that situation .

When my cousin invited me to join his bass club . I didnt know there was such a thing . Heck yes I joined . When I discovered baitcasting reels and graphite rods at first bass club tournament . I was outgunned . Second tourney I had a Garcia 5000 equipped with high speed gears , I think they were 4 to 1 a Hawg handle and mounted on a 5.6" glass Lews Speed Stick . I somehow won that tourney . When I learned how to fish a Texas rig .
