  1. I have witnessed bass behavior change with fishing pressure . They may not have the ability to reason but it seems they can react negatively to being caught . They are of course rarer . There is only one biggest bass in the pond and a bizillion little ones .
  2. I have significant arthritis and wear a orthopedic brace . New balance shoes fit my foot and brace better than anything else I have tried and I also buy New Balance insoles .
  3. Sort of like Gapens Bait Walker .
  4. I love and throw a lot of DWR's but didnt mention them because they are no longer available . My largest crankbait bass might have come on the Fat Free Fingerling .
  5. One of my favorites still today is the classic Rapala Fat Rap in the five foot zone . That lure flat out catches numbers .
  6. I already had two answers but now I'm changing it . My style no matter if I'm fishing a shallow dingy backwater or a deep clear canyon lake is to select several lures that work well in the cover and structure I encounter and hope to get lucky .
  7. My Grandpa had a magic bobber . It would dance . Mine just set there . I wish I had a magic bobber .
  8. Bomber Model A's and Norman Little N's are pretty good .
  9. spinnerbaits , buzzbaits , crankbaits and soft plastics with some hooks and bullet weights .
  10. I had big un-pressured smallmouth follow my canoe around like dogs . After introducing them to fishing pressure that type of behavior stopped .
  11. I have two 3/4 ounce Strike King Pro Ledge new in pack . They have gold skirts , gold main willow and silver colorado .
  12. They couldnt rank them for the first tourney so they went in alphabetical order . They should rank them after the first one is over . We have a fantasy league going . Fantasy Fishing 2019 - Official Thread
  13. 3/4 ounce sink faster and/or will allow for larger blades . They are more difficult to cast on most gear . 3/8 and 1/2 ounce cast the best . I dislike using lures to light or to heavy to cast effortlessly . If Im using a 1/8th ounce spinnerbait I add a weight to the hook shank .
  14. Its hard to prevent line twist . On some lures I add a swivel, not a snap swivel , a few inches in front of the lure . Removing line twist there are a couple of things i do. Remove hooks , lures ... and let it out behind the boat troll a hundred yards then reel it back in . On shore , walk it off in the grass then reel it in . Whenever I put fresh line on a spinning reel or spin-caster I always walk it out in the grass .
  15. I just think that time of year fishing is better in the afternoon , period.
  16. Back on topic . A Bomber Long A Minnow caught my biggest limit ever and I think has averaged larger fish than any other lure I have used . Its a long skinny lure .
  17. Heres my team . One Elite angler , 1 FLW Canadian , 2 from eastern Opens and 1 from central open .There is a reason I picked each one , they were not just drawn out of a hat . LOL A Drew Cook Midway, FL - B Jeff Gustafson Keewatin, NT - C Brandon Lester Fayetteville, TN - D Garrett Paquette Canton, MI - E Brad Whatley Bivins, TX
  18. I have never fished a fountain but it should oxygenate the water .
  19. I enjoy the Tiny lure fishing challenge . LOL .and other videos of young anglers just out fishing .
  20. ...and bridge pilings . lol I have busted a few of them and only reel in the lip .
