  1. I see you squeezed one lure in there too. Nice!
  2. I tried trolling it behind the yak once. Didn't catch any fish. Just a bunch of hot beer because my ice melted. Lol.
  3. I can't afford a go pro at this time so this sounds like an awesome way to get some fishing footage. Will someone please tell Peta that I'm a poacher and I will be fishing on the Hooch Saturday morning?
  4. I assumed that was actually you in the picture.
  5. The bobber is a cooler. It holds a 12 pack. Lol. Its like $15-$20 at Academy. That was an awesome video. Which one are you?
  6. I wouldn't hate you for it. I can tell your not the kind of guy to kill them out of spite. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
  7. I would disagree with the kill them and throw the bodies away idea. I would say if you can't find some way to use the meat then killing them is wrong IMO. I was raised to eat anything I killed or leave it be.
  8. When my wife and kids are gone I'll usually lay on the couch watching tv 75% of the time. Last time they went out of town for the day I went out fishing and was catching some nice ones but still cut my trip short to go home and be lazy while they were gone. I can't get any real rest when they are around.
  9. Yea, I think that would be cool. I was thinking a forum for quick fire short answer questions would be cool too.
  10. Surrendered peacefully and was taking into custody.
  11. I hope us south Alabama guy are invited as well. Lol. I think if u eat em or have a fishing party/bbq or gave them to someone who will eat them then its all good.
  12. Is there an opening for a bass slaying apprenticeship? Beautiful fish as always. Keep it up. Hope that shoulder heals up for you soon.
  13. Maybe they know the drill. CPR.
  14. I just checked him out. I think I have seen the mumbles videos before. The guy is funny though. I can dig it.
  15. Yea maybe she wanted to see what she was up against before she wore her self out.
  16. Not Raider. Lol.
  17. My buddy and I float down the Chattahoochee a few times a year. Probably like ten to fifteen miles. We will usually come across at least 5 gators on the trip. I usually keep my distance, but my buddy antagonizes the crap out of them. Throwing top water lures at them and such. The alligators are usually around ten feet but they act like they want no part of dealing with us. They go under and disappear every time, we have never been confronted by one. I was scared at first, but like others have said keep your eyes open for them and keep your space and you will be fine. On another note we were kayaking in a river about 40 wide recently and as we came around a curve a gator that I can only describe as a living dinosaur came into the water. It was probably 12 feet long and looked older than me. The gator antagonizer didn't want to play with this guy. We got out of dodge as fast as possible. Sometimes you gotta know when to fold em.
  18. Let me get my fishing gear loaded up and I'm otw. Ice that keg down in the mean time.
  19. So the guy is from the dirtiest part of the south.
  20. Nah man alot of southerners take pride in being from the dirty dirty.
  21. Thanks for all the info. I'll use epoxy instead and try to get some better wood. I appreciate it.
  22. I'm replacing the transom in an old Jon boat I bought. I'm planning to use 2 pieces of 3/4" cdx plywood cut to shape, glued together then laminated. My question is how do I laminate it? The guy in home depot said to buy fiberglass resin and cover it. No matting or anything just cover it in resin. Is this correct?
  23. To me it seems like if I buy the license I probably won't ever get asked to show it. If I don't buy it there is a 100% chance I will be asked to show it. That's just my luck though.
  24. That is a very cool idea.
