bluebasser makes some good ones for sure.... otherwise i like rage blades, they seem to hang up less in cover than some others

PRETTY STOKED to say that I received shipping confirmation on a new Megabass Orochi F6.5-70XX First megabass rod so i'm very excited, and i got a great deal on it to soften the blow!

one thing i know is that my bigger fish for a day usually seem to come from a jig.... but i don't consider the jig a numbers bait usually. i fish them both pretty much all the time. However, i'd say a worm is tied on the texas rig from spring-summer and fall and winter i usually have a creature bait of some sort on the texas rig... that's just me though.

i wish it wasn't so far away from me.... maybe in 2017....

what kind of baits you looking to throw on it? i recently picked up a 704cb glass and REALLY like it for shallow and mid range crankbaits. I don't think it's going to be the right stick for deep divers, but i don't throw them that much anyways....

i used to live near you in Charlotte and fished Norman and the area a good bit. My most productive colors were chartreuse with black back when the water is stained and olive shad other times.

the spool i had was 35lb i think. it had some slimey type coating of something on it that i did not care for. pulled it off the reel and never used it again. couldn't even comment on how it performed.

i really like the owner pivot heads. pricey, but great. they don't bind as much as others because of the addition of the split ring. that said, you could always open up said split ring and change the hooks.... might be an option for you.

agree with most above, not the best fluoro to try. being that all seaguar is on sale, i'd look at invizx or abrazx.

i got them to keep all my baits from snagging more than the safety aspect, but that's an added bonus!
