  1. those look great!
  2. 3/8" heat shrink tubing found at lowe's or home depot.... really don't even need to apply heat, can just slide the tubing over the worm and stick the hook through it. allows me to fish senkos MUCH longer than the traditional method. i also think it allows for better hookups like this than having it parallel to the bait like you would with an o ring. site member wayne P has a great write up here: http://www.bigindianabass.com/big_indiana_bass/a-better-wacky-rigging-method.html
  3. yeah if i were in the market for another yak right now, i'd be looking hard for a feelfree lure 11.5
  4. netbait t mac and super t mac worms. either junebug, black or green pumpkin.
  5. on a halfway serious note, what about best crankbait rod, jerkbait rod, jig rod, etc.? seems like that's a solid double digit percentage of posts in the rods, reels and line forum...
  6. My 3.5 year old nephew up in NC has got the bug! He went squirrel hunting last weekend with my dad and bagged his first squirrel (with his paw's assistance). Last night my brother tagged a 6 point after work on the piece of land over from his. My nephew is telling people that he got it! As soon as he saw it he immediately said "let's get the fourwheeler and take it home. i'm ready to skin it and eat it" pretty sure the smiles on his face show that he's hooked on hunting!
  7. just go get my dad's only reel he will use, the daiwa goldcast, and put it to work. he has a couple that are as old as i am i think and they're still fishing!
  8. this is what i did to hold a spinning reel on to one of my ultralights and after a couple years the tape still held like new....
  9. looks like a slightly less complicated float and fly of sorts that you can use on conventional gear...
  10. my favorite rod that i have for buzzbaits is my 6'10" MH/F Daiwa Tatula.... but what is "reasonably priced"? that might help narrow down the array of answers you'll likely receive
  11. after a year+ and 177 pages, you need to rename the title. support group?!?!? more like a 1-900 hotline for baitheads.....
  12. excellent point. AND if they have a dishwasher down under that bar, the steam/humidity will take it's toll on the line after a while.
  13. all very, very, very well said....
  14. hey buddy, just trying to help a brother out when i say posting your phone number on the web is just a bad idea.... lots of FL folks on here, hopefully you can link up with somebody!
  15. a whole new debate ..... what kind of knot are you tying?
  16. you just wouldn't want the water to settle and crack it like flyfisher is saying. i'd also keep an eye on it through the winter to make sure snow doesn't pile up on top of it and dent the hull in any way. otherwise, i wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
  17. hey man, those lures get good reviews and look solid for the money. i have a wilderness ride 135 and love it, but it is a little bigger than most. a ride 115 might be a good option for you. they are incredibly stable kayaks. take your time and find some deals in the off season.
  18. welcome aboard! i've spent my life between GA and NC. it's tough for anybody to find some decent spots around here to be honest! some NC talk: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/162984-how-many-nc-guys/ GA talk: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/142969-south-atlanta-bass-fishing-lakes-and-pond-locations/?hl=atlanta http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/153577-bank-fishing-in-georgia/page-2?hl=georgia

picked the gun up over the weekend, but was still in a delay status! going to have to figure out what that's all about... now to get some rounds through it!
  20. welcome! may help if you have a specific brand in mine to provide that. if you're talking st croix, i'd say either of the M. Most other brands i'm thinking MH. my thought is always throwing the square bill around the heavy cover i'll take the slightly heavier rod.
  21. My best all around rod that i have is a daiwa tatula 6'10" Medium Heavy - Fast Action it can and will do everything you listed
  22. got my 2nd TW order in right at the buzzer tonight....
  23. stupid, senseless, all the words that won't bring the guy back.... and not to deter you from carrying when legal, but it is 100% illegal to carry on an army corps of engineers ramp....
  24. Thanks dudes! I knew some of the gear junkies would come through for me! Any links to some an article or video or something with the process laid out?
  25. Please pardon my mechanical ignorance, but I have 2 Curado 51e's and would like to see about bumping the gears up on one to a higher ratio like 7.1:1. Questions: Is this a possibility? Is this costly? What all part would this include? Where would I find said parts? Thanks for any help!
