The manager told me that after today the 3 day period was up. They're closed tomorrow, but she said i could come pick it up on Friday and they'd transfer it no problem.

Anyone every experience a delayed response while purchasing a handgun and going through the background check? Long time gun owner, user, etc. but never actually purchased from a brick and mortar location prior to this attempt. Received a delayed response last Friday and they have until end of day today to respond before I can pick up the gun. Can't understand why the delay in the first place, let alone why on day 3 it still hasn't processed? Really just hope nothing goes wrong with the purchase as I feel I was getting a great deal on a sale that is already over. definitely hear what you're saying. only problem is it was $99 on closeout so i'd assume you either live with it (no box or papers) or return it, but you can't expect that they'll have another in stock to ship to you. honestly, i'd either call their customer service or speak with someone at the store about it and see what they might do for you.

i like to fish them on my dobyns glass crankbait rod as well. have done so on the 704cb and the 705cb and i think the 705cb was better suited for it. my personal preference for your question would likely be the MH.

very sorry to hear of your loss. at 30 years myself, things like this put life in perspective. cherish those memories made, most of my fondest memories with my dad and brother are of fishing and hunting ventures... thinking of you and your family.
