  1. that's a sweet view you got there!
  2. that's a really cool gift, nice job!
  3. They're pretty close man, aside from the chartreuse line on the LC and the eye color difference ... Best I could do on the photos:
  4. I've had a tournament pro, bb1, mg and they were all nice reels. Recently I picked up a team lews pro z and whoa that's a step above!! I now have 3 of them...
  5. Lost a new jig today and a naked rage blade ON THE SAME BRANCH! Bank fishing leaves you about zero options once they're snagged really good.... From the kayak I would have retrieved both of those lures....
  6. like most above i'm only changing them if they're poor quality hooks. lots of good hooks available and usually always one of them on sale.
  7. they have a live threadfin that i think is close.... just ordered 3 of the 6th sense cranks this morning, they look great.
  8. Mike at Siebert Outdoors is a great dude with great products. will not disappoint....
  9. that's incredible!! start pouring some lead Mike, i feel you may see some orders come in courtesy of this story!
  10. i was trimming the weedguards on mine for a while, but quit and have noticed absolutely no difference. only thing i've done since is snip a few strands out of a few jigs that i wanted to be a bit more "finesse" in some clearer water.
  11. looks like a great solution to the whole kayak anchor storage situation.... but $150 is super steep.
  12. "carrot fibers" spun into a rod blank
  13. 16# sunline sniper fluorocarbon or 40# hi viz power pro
  14. if so, i'd like to find out about them!
  15. anybody with a brain living in Atlanta right now knows this all too well..... essentially stealing taxes to build not one, but two new stadiums that we won't be able to afford tickets to.... all about the benjamins
  16. very sorry to hear Tom
  17. wowzers man, absolutely whacking some pigs out there!
  18. cannot offer an opinion on the stradic... but i have a supreme mgx and a patriarch. both very nice, patriarch is noticeably lighter and more fluid by a hair. but not worth the additional coin in my opinion. i would be more than happy with a supreme vs spending the extra $ on the patriarch if it were between those two reels.
  19. 12lb invisx has plenty enough stretch that i wouldn't be concerned there. oddly enough, i don't care what i use for cranking as i don't think it has nearly the impact on cranking as other baits.... my opinion only. i can comfortably crank with 30lb braid, 8lb yo zuri, 10lb mono or 12lb fluoro. user preference as far as i'm concerned.
  20. best swimjig trailer i have in my arsenal..... the tail really kicks something fierce even at the slowest speeds. never used them on a dropshot myself.
  21. only thing that kept me from trying a couple of worms that i had was the worm was too skinny too hold the neko weight effectively (normal size roboworm and some ribbed worms i had) i think i'm going to try a kut tail or pro senko now based on the suggestions above....
  22. what are your intended uses for the rods/lines? i would use 10-12 for cranking and 15 for jigs/texas rigs
  23. US Customs can delay the process no matter how much $ you pay to expedite....
  24. can't go wrong with this route.... or if you find a good deal on a supreme, scoop one of those up.
