Carolina Rigs...plastic Beads or Glass? 1 or 2 beads?
glass beads are much louder than plastic. brass on glass is a loud combination. i like it for the darker/stained waters i usually fish. I prefer the carolina keeper to rather than additional knots and hardware.

Delaware Valley Tackle
Mike at DVT is as legit as they get! He has helped me on numerous occasions both paid and un-paid. Just this morning he took my call and gave me step by step instructions on making a repair to one of my rods, with no hesitation to do so. He's a good guy with great service. If you need any work done on your rods or reels, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

little lure ---> BIG BASS
yeah man, unless you're about 9.5 feet tall, i'm going to say that's a healthy 5 pounder. if you are in fact 9.5 feet tall, that may very well be a 7! either way that's a great fish, evidenced by your big grin!

First Day Out in 2016

Few Canoe Buying Question
i was just about to say the same as above.... a pond prowler sounds like the right option to me. i've gone in my brother's with me, him, my nephew and some fishing gear. yeah it was a tight fit, but never once felt like we were in jeopardy of flipping it. those things are surprisingly good for fishing and very stable. you could fit it right in the back of the truck... we put my 30# minn kota and his 55lb minn kota on there and the thing will really move! i think this would be a good option for you and if you look around, i often see these boats sell for decent prices on CL.

Few Canoe Buying Question
we always had a canoe at my house as kids.... we had a pond big enough to put it in and had a blast. BUT i've never been in one that felt all that stable to me. there is a world of difference between a canoe and my sit on top kayak. i can flip a canoe in an instant, but no matter how hard i try, the yak does not flip! some other more experienced guys (a jay, goose, fishing rhino to name a few) can give you some better input, i'm certain!

most useful worm type
9" Super T Mac worms by Netbait. they're dynamite in the warmer months and can be cut down to size for a smaller presentation too...

Zebco omega pro vs Daiwa Goldcast
i would say yes on the 80 size, but little is relative i guess.... dad uses the 100 size and i would think it is a good one for little hands so i'd assume the 80 a good fit too....

Fish finder battery
i have a similar battery to the one you posted. wayne is right on, it runs my lowrance 4x hdi for about 6-8 hours. Typically closer to 6 hours before it loses battery power.

Zebco omega pro vs Daiwa Goldcast
my dad only fishes his trusty old goldcasts.... he's had one for about 15 years or more i guess and we just got him his second one last summer. he swears by the goldcast as the top dog in spincast reels. the few times i've used it i could tell it was a quality reel, i just don't use the spincast reels at all.

6Th Sence Baits
yeah, i'd been wanting to try them and was in need of some cranks in the mid-deep range and these 250MD baits are said to run 7-12ft so that sounds pretty good to me. i just received 3 of them on an order and they look like they'll do the job. may be a couple weeks though until i'm able to give them a test run....
