  1. Me and ole BigBassBarry were at the Mid-South Tackle show he snagged one to try, they will be tested soon!
  2. I got to hold one but not fish one yet, for for a Benji, pretty pretty pretty pretty good. I guess I might as well sign a contract with Boyd cause at this rate all my rods are gonna end up being Ducketts. Lol
  3. Super Nintendo, Bassin Black bass with Hank Parker played that aaaaaalot.
  4. Sweet I'll probably check one out for sure.
  5. my understanding is everyone used to throw rattling, so silent became the "something different" for pressured fish. but now its seems like most are silent. I wonder when things will turn the other way. Rick Clunn said he like to throw the opposite of what the majority is throwing.
  6. hit dat BFL i enjoyed it last year going to try to squeeze a few in this year to get familiar with unknown waters.
  7. Good read thanks for sharing! I'm looking to add one to my Duckett family of rods.
  8. Is that this years??? If so Tell me more what goodies await!

  13. Haha nice I should probably get a backup. There all just about sold only the black mamba remains, better hurry if you haven't got urs!
  14. Haha good thinking! I almost grabbed the white one it' was pretty cool worth the fish bones. But my boat is red so I had to match plus I figured if I can't get a bite maybe I'll put that mask on and scare them out of the water. Ha
  15. Order placed thanks for the tip!
  16. I think i may have to get that Red one "The Fallen"
  17. I grabbed a couple of these to try in the 4.5 and the 5" in the green penny they look good in the package glad to here the fish like'em too! At 2.99 it was to cheap not to snag a few bags. @Bluebasser86 that is good idea can't hurt to have a little extra hook insurance
  18. I invested in JerkBaits this year and i plan to invest in a JB rod too. Held a few at BPS i tried to pick out a different rod in my price range but looks like i'll be adding another Duckett. 6'6" M Was watching Bass Pros and KVD talked about JB rods and said you want one with a short handle so when you do the downward motion your not hitting yourself with the rod. Top water i like my 7' MH Vertias or my 7'6" MH Carbonlite since its a stiffer rod for bigger topwaters.
  19. I've only come across them in one place in my parts by accident. Online is my go to shopping.
  20. I hear the old ones are killer! Sorry that's all I know. I grabbed some of the news on try. But I hear there not as good as the old school. Something about those balsa cranks
  21. I'm such a sucker for Japanese baits anymore I feel well maybe they haven't seen these as much. I snagged some of Keitechs solid tubes to try when I was researching the fat ika. Come on warm weather!
  22. There's a good YouTube video and this recommended using swim bait hook especially the eagle claw hook since it has a huge gap 60 degree. His video sold me on the idea so that's my plan. He said his words he thought they looked better in the water on the swimbait hook vs the jig head he acted like the jig head didn't give as good of movement as the swimbait hook. Also I hear invest in some mendit. I got some 3.8 to throw on my umbrella rig. And plan to fish the 4.8 as solo swimbaits. Bluegill flash gold flash and pro staff as some colors I had recommended to me good luck sir!
  23. If you don't mind my throwing something else into the mix how's the hotspots maps? The ones that make the paper maps they make a card too. If I'm going to a new body of water I atleast like to look torwads these areas for starting spot. I have hds touch 9, if not I may just be manually entering info from my paper maps which wouldn't be the end of the world. But like two lakes I frequently fish one on navionics shows lots of details road beds etc. but this other lake navionics doesn't show much stuff. Where my paper maps for the lake that doesn't show much on navionics it's all there on paper.
