  3. Pretty much!A slower reel for cranks and 7.1 or so for frogs. As far as line i go with 12# for crankin and 30 to 50# braid for frogs Thats just me though. I do prefer a medium action for my cranks and a heavy/fast for frogs
  4. You can use a 7 Mh rod, 6.2 - 7.1 reel and 15 lb flouro for d**n near anything The big exceptions in my opinion are crank baits and frogs
  5. Ive t rigged em and wacky rigged. Both worked well. I bought some of the jackall flick shake heads and they are quite nice not the most durable worms but they work darn good

  7. Tested it yesterday in the pouring rain fixing an ice jam over my driveway...worked great. I was completely dry! Ir was 35 and pouring and i was warm and dry! Summer rain should be no problem

  9. ▲▲ i weighed a 27 lb bag in daramiscata (spelling?) In 2004 at a club tourny had a 7lb largemouth and two 5lb smallies in that bag...plus two five lb largemouths. Led after day one...didnt do crap in day two lol i think i had like 8lbs on a five limit lol
  10. The avid is a piece of crap..ship it me ill pay shipping plus 50bucks. Just kidding lol Croix never claims to make a light rod but they do make a d**n fine rod and the avid blank is very very nice. Fish with it a few times and make your final decision. If ya dont like it. Sell it
  11. Lolyou are crazy lol I caught my PB smalie and largemouth in Maine not only that i had my best ever day on the water on China. I had 50+fish day up there...also blanked on the same lake lol I loved the bass up there especially those androscoggin smallies!

  13. LC pointer 78 or 100 in the spring and fall. A 5 or 6Xd in summer Jig spinnerbait RI sweet beaver LC sammy And pay no attention to the live target frog in my pocket

  16. i have no confidence in lipless cranks...I have never hooked up with a lipless in fresh water however, I am going to lake norman in 19 days and I am planning on forcing myself to fish with my red eye shad and lucky craft LV...im gonna catch something dammit!
  17. I like to go smaller with jigs and creatures and fish more finess in that situation...i might use the same colors and styles only smaller. And i fish as tight to cover as i can
  18. After getting soaked in tournaments i finally broke down and bought the BPS 100mph parka and bib! Stuff is nice!

  20. I know i put many many many many many many many fish in the boat over the years on berkely big game...havnt fished it in a few years since i went all flouro....may to have rig a reel or two with some big game again this year
  21. I have lews, loomis, croix and 13....my favorite is the one with a fish on it
  22. You should see the bloodbath when you release a 120-130lb tarpon only to have a 12ft hammerhead bite it right in half...the shark missed me by less than two feet...i needed some new shorts after that
  23. Tell ya what i used TF camo a lot on leader shy tarpon and snook for years...its good stuff. The abrasion resistance was top notch. I battled many tarpon for over 45 mins on 30 leaders and they didnt wear through it
  24. Wood and rocks mostly but i really really like sharp drop offs with wood and rocks lol
