  1. Love the lines. XL, XT, Vanish, Big Game. Would be all I fish if I hadn't gotten a good deal on YZ Hybrid.
  2. The Falcon FTO hook and sinker box isn't bad. I tried using a BPS 3700 box, but the sliding dividers wouldn't stay in place and I was always having hooks mixing up. The only knock on the Falcon boxes is their size. Bigger than a 3600, smaller than a 3700.
  3. I love that first one. I wish Daiwa would make more than one FW round reel. If the Luna wasn't so damned expensive, I'd have 2 or 3 of them.
  4. I haven't had it out in my boat on any lake on which I can use my OB. It does help balance my buddy's Stratos when we're in it (I'm lighter than him). ;D I've got almost every little bit of tackle I own in that bag (save for the catfish and trout gear) and it still has room for more. Obviously weight is more than a small factor. I need to weigh the bag, but I would estimate it's weight at around 60 lbs. I've went through 5 different bags in the last year and the Cabela's bags are bar none the best I've used. They put the BPS bags to shame in quality and functionality.
  5. I love Reaction Innovation's color list.
  6. Two guys in my club fish Pro Craft. They are both very happy with them. I spent a couple of hours in one of them a couple of weeks ago, it was a nice boat, but I didn't care for the floorplan and storage layout all that much. Have you looked at Stratos?
  7. Did it yesterday afternoon. Not a one man job by any means, but only took my dad and I about an hour. Not bad for the first time either of us has done any work of that sort to an outboard. I was worried the old impeller would look like swiss cheese, but only one fin was bad. Going to take it out Wed. evening and give it a good running.
  8. Cabelas Advanced Anglers Pro Series Bags There are four different sizes. Small, large, magnum, and super magnum.
  9. That ain't metal, that's hairspray rock. Well, at least the boys from Oz never overdid it on the hairspray like Motley Crue.
  10. Check my friend's Tracker Pro 175 (40 lb. MK Edge) last night with my GPS. 1.9 MPH on high. The speeds you list seem about right to me.
  11. You should try lifting it. My wife says it needs wheels. ;D
  12. That's not a bad idea. I might have to actually order online rather than phoning it in so I give them a piece of my mind.
  13. Cabelas Advanced Angler series. The best tackle bags money can buy. The Super Magnum is although you need to buy a forklift in order to move it.
  14. Mushroom-who??? Slipknot, on the other hand....
  15. If you want it quickly from BPS, spring for the 2 day air shipping. Even then, they sit on the order for a couple of days before packing and shipping it. Last Monday afternoon I called in an order to BPS. 2 day air via FedEx. Package ETA Thursday. Order was placed around 1PM CDT. Didn't leave their warehouse till Wed. afternoon. I noticed last week that they no longer refer to it as 'shipping and handling'. Now it is 'packaging and delivery'. I won't order from BPS unless I can't get it anywhere else. Cabelas is good about getting stuff out to me in less than 5 days even with standard shipping. That said, I have noticed them sitting on orders for a day or three lately before shipping. All I know is that I wish they would stop basing shipping totals on price. My last order from Cabelas consisted of 1 Navionics card and 2 packages of chigger craws. 2nd day air UPS, $20. And they shipped it in a box about 5x too big.
  16. Weigh the jug on the scale, then measure 3.785 liters of water and pour into the jug. d**n I'm a nerd...
  17. Happened to me once. Hurt like helll Didn't do that no more, did ya? ;D
  18. My wife never cared for tenting. I grew up tenting all over the place. We bought a big Eureka last summer, never got a chance to use it. Found a great deal on the popup a few months ago. This was our first trip in the camper.
  19. Boone, NC
  20. Getting ready to replace the impeller on my 88 DT65. Looking over the instructions, I notice that they say to use silicone seal (Suzuki part # 99000-31120) to the mating faces of the driveshaft housing and gearcase, also gearcase tightening bolts. Also says to use water resistant grease on the splined section of the driveshaft. I have neither. At least not Suzuki brand. I do have some 3M Marine Grade Silicone sealant (3M Part # 051135-08019) and some basic white lithium grease. Would these two products be acceptable for this job? My first time working on an OB and I'm kind of running in the dark.
  21. I figured it would hurt quite a bit, but I can barely tell I've got one. I just wish my head would tan rather than burn, peel, and be white again.
  22. Well, TR-SA at least... And this is what happens when you spend half a day at 6000' without a hat.
  23. If they come back to SML, they should do so before Memorial Day or after Labor day. BTW, thanks for the updates. Almost like I'm there... :'(
  24. 1 gal water = 8.34 lbs.
