  1. Ribs. I never used the heads.
  2. Put them in a zip-lock back and leave them ouside for a day or 2, then freeze them. Trust me, that day or 2 in the sun will give it all the smelly goopy attractant you want. It works perfect for jugging.
  3. I was. Renter is moving out of my house in Girard tomorrow. I'm going to work on it tomorrow night and Saturday to get it posted back up for rent or sell it. Sunday I'm going to fish Bone Creek for my EKB club. It's my home lake, and as tight as the co-angler points are I might as well quit fishing the club if I miss that tournament.
  4. I agree. I've never witnessed bass chasing tadpoles, and one of our farm ponds is full of them. I also tried them under a float and have had no luck.
  5. Good luck this weekend guys! Rip some lips!
  6. Back when I would catfish, I used the crappie ribs for catfish bait. Works pretty well.
  7. Bluebasser86 makes a bladed jig in Golden Shiner that works great. One of my favorite colors. PM him for info or pictures.
  8. My wife and two beautiful daughters. I'm blessed by those around me, and will never top that.
  9. Lol, go pro it and submit it to AFV. We'd win big time I assure you.
  10. Try the lake fork live magic shad. The jointed one. It's magic
  11. You lose a lot of action without the split ring. Same principal as a crankbait. The one with the ring will hunt better. I would thing the weighted keel hook with a blade would have a very dull action.
  12. Will say wiggle wart under the bill. The top and bottom seam is via able. Best way that I know of.
  13. KC bass mafia baby!!! That is our tough day! Lol
  14. Always cool, it is what it is. That's what makes this forum great. People agree, disagree, and agree to disagree. Sounds like we have hit the latter. I don't go out of my way to kill snakes, but I kill the ones that are in my way and don't lose any sleep over it.
  15. That stinks. Sounds like you were ready for battle with that setup!
  16. Bass don't eat rats!!!!
  17. Great looking fish! Congrats!
  18. Congrats and way to stick with it after the motor mishap.
  19. With the exception of a venomous snake that could cause harm.
  20. Nice report, and good persistence. Stumbled on day one, laid the smack down on day 2. Way to go.
  21. My buddies boat that he had before he got his new one was the same way. Natural fill livewell with no aerator. It worked well, even in the summer months. Just be sure to keep an eye on the fish, keep them covered up and you should be fine. Like others have said, you could turn your existing livewell into a permanent aerated/recirculated system for pretty cheap.
  22. To each his own my friend. Considering you are a fisherman your comparison is just silly. As an outdoorsman, a father, a human, I have the right to dispose of any snake I come across (as long as they are not legally protected). My daughter will not even go back to a local pond in a PARK because of the amount of snakes there. The second anything gets in my way, or my families way of ENJOYING the great outdoors and I can LEGALLY remove that thing, I will do it every time without a second thought in a fast, humane way.
