Lb Thrust
Exactly! I should have bought a smaller trolling motor... Said no one ever!!!!! If you have to wait a weekend and then get one. If you can get the 70# that will work. I had a 70# on my 19' bass cat and had zero problem. Just be sure to buy quality batteries. Agree with bluebasser too, get a variable speed rather than the 5 speed. You will thank us later.

In Light Of The "getting Lures Unstuck" Video On The Homepage.
Tournament as coangler I'll pop it a few times then break if no luck. Tournament as boater I'll drop the rod and fish something else up to the snag and then free it. Fun fishing I always go get it if I'm in a boat, if on shore I try for a few seconds and then break off.

Ever Take Your Dog Fishing?
The good luck charm! I don't think I'd know what to do with myself if we weren't dodging her while scrambling to get the net! Big fish is right, she sure didn't like it when I snagged that carp!

Advanced Senko Fishing
Shoot... he is probably just taking the onion out of the bag! BUT, it's that enthusiasm and willingness/hunger to learn and grow in the sport that will keep him successful. Good post, nothing new, but it inspired good conversation and put it in front of eyes that may not have any info on senkos. FYI, you've gotta start skip casting things!

Sponsor Article Worth Reading
Interesting read. I'm not 100% positive that it really pushes the hard work and determination aspect of it, but for sure pushes the business approach. I'd say he was fortunate enough to have access to money (not many people I know buy the company they work for after only 6 years). And before it's bashed about my comment about the hard work and determination aspect: I am in no way saying this guy hasn't busted his butt in his career's. I'm saying as a by-stander it looks as though money got him where he is today a lot faster than it might have someone without the access to it. Has he done a fantastic job at working to make his money grow, absolutely, but give someone $5 and another person $50 see who can make more on what they have by the end of the week. I'd like to read an article about someone that had to really grind it to get into the game (FLW or Elites). Someone with a boat load of money who called 2 friends to be able to fish is kind of disheartening.

New Video: The Ned Rig
The Zman products have more subtle movements. I'm not saying that they catch a ton of fish over other senko style baits, but the reason I spend my money on them is the fact that I can use 1 TRD for 100 fish compared to 5-10 maybe on any other senko style plastic.

Morels!
We always get a boat load of them down on the farm. My brothers, dad and I are too selfish to even sell them. We just fry up some crappie with them, and have asparagus and fried taters. Total gluttony!

Lol!
I agree, and often I still swing. Stuck a 6lb bass that felt identical to a sunfish last year at a local lake.

Going To Try This One Again.......
Yah man, you are going with a professional guide. Relax, stop overthinking it and let him do his job. He will put you on the fish. Side note: leave your gear at home, he is a professional and has the tools of his trade. Don't be the guy that bring the knife to a gunfight as stated above.

Throw Ribcage Away?
Of course! For blue wee use fresh cut perch or shad. For flathead we used live perch, pumpkinseed, or goldfish.
