  1. Not everybody can catch 10 pound 'bows in their driveway @J Francho
  2. Without a kayak or wading, frogging and fluking sounds like a good approach. But I'm with @Catt, flipping/punching.
  3. I'll look for the Lime Purple Passion. I was checking out the Skywalker and Green Haze patterns. They look like decent gill imitators as well. There's quite a few blue variants if I remember correctly. I'll look for that Sapphire Blue.
  4. If you're not throwing a sniper jig, are you really even a bass fisherman?
  5. He was one of the names I remember posting in that thread. I'll wait for his comment.
  6. I was just going to create this thread. Glad that everyone is excited to do this again! I'll create the group on Bassmaster once they open it up. The first tournament is exactly a month away boys!
  7. Welcome aboard? What part of Canada are you from? I've fished all around Ontario for most of my life.
  8. I remember a thread a while back, but I can't seem to find it now. The thread was talking about discontinued/desirable Pit Boss colors that guys can no longer get. I recently came across a shop with a large supply of older Havoc Pit Bosses in an array of colors. What colors are you Pit Boss guys looking for? I'll see if I can help you guys out.
  9. I bought 3 HMG's and my father bought 2 HMG's about 4 years ago or so. Good little rods for the money at first. They have however proven to not hold up the best. We have broken guides off on 3 of those 5 rods though. The guide feet on these rods are very weak and a definite problem area. I've heard that Fenwick has revised these rods since then, so hopefully they fixed that issue. I also have a HMX that I bought as a backup for whenever I go to NY salmon fishing in the streams. However, that rod is still wrapped up and new and I haven't had to use it yet.
  10. So glad to hear that you are doing better now. We were all very concerned for you. Keep us updated on your progress and hopefully you can be back out on the water after ice out.
  11. Was this in store? Because I'm not seeing in on their website.
  12. I've caught fish in the spring not long after ice out on a chatterbait. Water probably in the low/mid 40's.
  13. I have two Berkley line spooling stations. One is in the original packaging and is portable. The other I have modified it to be attached to my work bench in my garage so I can spool my reels up at home. It's pretty handy.
  14. Yep, I love those little tip covers they use. I went a different route instead of emailing, I just bought a bunch of their rods instead ?
  15. Just some food for thought - I own that same model that you just broke and I'm pretty sure those models carry a 3 year warranty with Abu. Perhaps you should contact them about getting a replacement? (800) 228-4272 http://www.abugarcia.com/AbuGarcia-warranty.html They might be closed for the holidays this week, but I'd give them a ring next week.
  16. Mann 1- and the Evergreen CR-1
  17. That seats for my future fishing buddy
  18. @Kyhokie hooked it up! He must have done his homework on what I like. Swimbaits and grubs are always tied on when I'm on the water. And the wiggle wart and Pointer are my early spring go to baits! Thanks bunch for the awesome loot!
  19. I have 2 of the regular Avid's in 7' M/F and 1 LTB 7'1" M/F. Needless to say, that blank is probably my most used blank that I use in fishing.
  20. Brand - Seibert Outdoors (click the link to the right. Seriously, they're the best.) Color - I'm a firm believer in our lord and savior, Green Pumpkin. Trailer - any sort of craw trailer. Paca Chunk, Baby D Bombs, Rage Chunk
  21. The CH-1 is replacing the Mann's Baby 1- for me. It's a modern day, JDM, high end version of that lure essentially. Very high quality stuff. The CR-2 is inbetween a Baby 1- and the modern day 1.5 squarebill. Another quality bait.
  22. I'm looking forward to the day my son is old enough to fish with me. That's who I want to fish with.
  23. I shipped my present out on Monday at lunch time. Someone should be receiving a nice present here soon.
  24. I'm not particular to one style of hat, but there are two styles of hats that I avoid. Flat bill and snap backs.
  25. The way that they sell out should tell you everything you need to know.
