  1. 1:45 on day one and the cut line is 4-15. This is unreal!
  2. The manufacturers are the ones funding the the entire operation. You can't bite the hand that feeds you.
  3. So much grey area in this rule. Scott literally lives on the water at Okeechobee. He can literally walk out his front door and see things like "water clarity" or "fish activity". Not defending Scott here. There are numerous elite anglers who also live on lakes they compete on.
  4. It truly is... Scott was my only chance of catching @lmoore
  5. Martin had over 60% ownership in his bucket for Fantasy Fishing. Unreal.
  6. Matt posted a video on his Facebook page. Didn't go into really any details at all and mentioned that the rest of the story will come out eventually to the public. The primary topic of the whole video was him saying he talked to all his sponsors and they all supported him to move over to NFPL going forward.
  7. Matt Herren has been disqualified for his performance at the first event of the 2025 season at St. Johns River. Herren failed his polygraph even following the event. He has decided to retire all together from the BASS Elites and will be fishing the NPFL going forward. https://www.bassmaster.com/elite/news/elite-herren-disqualified-at-st-johns-river/ https://www.si.com/onsi/fishing/bass-fishing/matt-herren-announces-exit-from-bassmaster-elite-series-after-disqualification
  8. Final day to make picks for the Big O. In other news, Matt Herren was disqualified after taking his polygraph test at St. Johns River and he has decided to retire from BASS and will be fishing NPFL going forward.
  9. I must have picked the day 1 all star team... I had 1077 after day 1 and I finished the event with 881. To no surprise, Lmoore is our leader after the first event of the year. We have a quick turnaround. The boys blast off on Thursday, so get those picks made quickly.
  10. Fantasy tracker isn't working and it's driving me nuts. Good luck this season everyone!
  11. Are you trying to give the rest of us a chance at winning this thing finally?
  12. Yen to USD is 5.69. I'm guessing the seller is selling in the wrong currency.
  13. I was just giving you some good starter colors that were all in one style. Feel free to buy/use anything you want.
  14. Maybe try contacting Bassmaster?? Or just create a new login with a different email address?
  15. If you want to keep it simple with all one style, you could do a lot with these colors below in the Barbed Wire series. Dark Green Pumpkin (SKU: 066) Money Maker Watermelon (SKU: 520) Olive Pumpkin (SKU: 321) Peanut Butter (SKU: 259) Belly Craw (SKU: 238) And then I'd go with the tried and true solid black (SKU: 034)
  16. Blast off is Thursday morning. Make those picks!
  17. Hey Siri, which state has the smallest state record largemouth?
  18. Don't overthink it. Basic jigs can catch fish just as well as complex ones will. With that being said, my bottom contact jigs I keep pretty simple on colors. Where I will get a little more complex with whenever it comes to my skirts is for my moving baits (spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, swim jigs). Below are some I've done. Most of these have 3-5 different colors in them. This one is living rubber.
  19. 6lb braid is a 1lb mono equivalent
  20. Cut off the treble. Put on a small split ring and a single hook.
  21. 9 days left to make your picks. Sign up now!
  22. Great post and photo there of the age classes. As you can see in the 2.5 and 3.5 photos.. Where the neck meets the brisket goes from being defined to looking bulky and kind of like loose hide. You can also see the sag in the belly (aka Dad Bod). The muscle mass on the shoulders and hind legs grows significantly as well.
  23. Never heard of anything going by the nose/face. The easiest way to judge the body is by looking at where the neck meets the brisket, the "dip" in the back, and the belly. Beyond that, having the teeth done by a biologist is the only scientific way. The photo you posted doesn't really show any of those, but going by antler size that deer is either 3.5 or 4.5 years old. Definitely one that someone would be proud of.
  24. Bump 26 days til the season kicks off!
