  1. Could not tell you as I don't run a rudder with my 10e even when using the TM up front. The foot control cables are long enough to allow me to sit aft so the boat balances well and the sponsons provide more than enough rudder effect.
  2. Do you mean Konawa?? Haven't been there but that fishery is on the list, along with Arbuckle and a few others.
  3. What makes you think anybody's not getting it?? Of course your taste is different from mine or anyone else, I did preface my comment with IMO.... There are plenty who beg to differ with your opinion of what's good tasting or not, that's all, tight lines my friend.
  4. Caught a lot of fish on Scum Frog (Bigfoot)

  6. IMO, crappie is very mild tasting. Why do you think on most fishermen put them in the live well, because they taste like crap? I eat walleye and salmon too, but I'd rather release all bass, except for sea bass
  7. There's nothing wrong with crappie, or sunfish for that matter. I personally don't care for the taste of bass so I release all.
  8. Floro is inherently stiff, some brands a lot more than others. Use floro or a hybrid for leader material and light braid. I have no problems with that setup but straight floro will make you say bad words (unless it's light stuff). BTW - If you spool enough floro to never have your braid in the water, there is no advantage to the braid.
  9. Nice bass! In the 5lb. range? Tough to tell without knowing how big you or your hands are.
  10. Welcome! Can honestly say I've never fished for bass in Colorado. Am familiar with the Loveland area as I have a sis in Centennial and a daughter in Foco. Caught a lot of trout in the Poudre...give us a bass report from time to time.
  11. Went one December, January, And February without a tight line. Granted I only went for 1 - 3 hours at a time and only about twice a month.
  12. 80 - 85% of my fish this spring have been taken after 2 pm. but I still practice all morning
  13. I'll say one thing for the OP, he's obviously more persistent than I am
  14. I've heard that too but I believe the one who told me was a fisherman
  15. Yep, that's for sure! I think she really doesn't care for the fishing part, she loves the catching part though
  16. Welcome to the forums, LA is great bass country. Will be looking for some pics real soon
  17. Very nice bow. Congrats!!
  18. I've always used braid to 6lb Yo-Zuri. This year have tried some Gliss to Yo-Zuri. I use a Pflueger President that I'm pretty happy with. Saw them at WM about a month ago for $45 on clearance. Other than that, I have a Shimano Stradic CI4+ and a Shimano Saros that I wouldn't hesitate to use for DS but the President is my go to rig (Shimano Crucial Drop Shot CRS-DX68MA).
  19. I agree with fishinfiend, 5lbs. give or take a little
  20. I might even be inclined to dance with her FAT girlfriend What a hog, congrats!!
  21. Wife's first bass 2nd She's pretty happy now
  22. Threw Keitech swim baits, jigs, squarebills, and roboworms. All fish came via the roboworms, nose hooked, drop shot.
  23. Had a good day on the water last weekend. Caught a few in 6-10 FOW No farm pond this time, Elmer Thomas
