Don't get discouraged. It's all about where and not the baits. It takes time to find em on this huge place.

Caught about 12. Same place and patterns as last Sunday. None over 3. Search mode tomorrow.

It was really Friday the 13th weekend for me! One trouble after the next. Finally got to fish today after all the mishaps. Caught 14. Mostly on a trap, c-rig, and drop shot in 5 to 20 ft. All those are weird for me too. Cranking battery died and I couldn't jump it for some reason and had to troll back to Fin and Feathers. How special lol

Me either. Barely have enough pour la maison. Using it all on brewing a gumbo, which it is actually the perfect weekend for and maybe duck hunting. See y'all next weekend though ? Hope you caught and your line guides and worm gear didn't freeze up. If it wasn't duck season I'd have been there too.

I've learned don't believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see, which sûcks when you're trying to learn a huge place and are ate up with it. I'll just keep doing my time learning. Meanwhile, it sure is nice duck hunting and fishin in a shallow lake full of grass ?

Zero bites so far today. One power pole ain't working so I think I'll work on that the rest of the day! The water was 49 to 55 in case anybody was wondering. I wasn't expecting it to drop that much.

Very low. It is 4 feet below pool stage. Was five so at least it rose a little. Usually at or above pool for spring.

I haven't been for a couple of weekends cause of work and ducks but from what I'm hearing and the upcoming front, I'd go with deep. I'll find out this weekend and let you know. Good luck.

It was 64 to 69 in Sandy Sunday with that cut to the bone East wind. Sorry Nitro, I'm not sure which way they are headed either. Just when I think I know, another front passes and people start catching them 25 to 35 feet while I'm fishin' shallower than that.

He caught zero Friday afternoon. He said not a stitch of grass. He tried deep and shallow. Brush piles and boat docks. Not a bite.

I've never been to Negreet. It does look good just focused on the Texas side right now. My Uncle is in Negreet today. I'll let you know how he does.

Nice job JC. I waited until after the rain to go Sunday. Saw your rig again in the same spot. Tried to fish deep until about 3. Only caught 5 In my favorite East wind.
