  1. Wishing your dad a speedy recovery. Did you show him the photo of the bass?
  2. @scaleface, Did it look like the attached photo? Had to take the photo at an angle for the chartreuse stripe to show
  3. Camanche has 7700 surface acres. @ryanerb said 1100 surface acres. It's probably Santa Margarita Lake.
  4. @redmeansdistortion, I don't know if this would work as an alternative, but you can remove the split rings and attach siwash hooks directly. Most siwash hooks are available with an open eye, and I think they make them in small sizes (8 and 10). The down side is that siwash hooks appear to be heavy. Not sure how that would affect the action of your lures.
  5. Congratulations! Not many people would be willing to put in the hard work and time that you have.
  6. Hang in there.
  7. Congratulations!
  8. Sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
  9. @Dramonx, If you are in California, you have to be a "Registered Aquaculturist". You should contact someone in the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for information. I've attached the application and an information leaflet that are available at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife website . Not sure if you can open it - it's a pdf. It might be safer to get a job with an existing aquaculture firm and see if you like doing that sort of work before you invest your money. 2020 Aquaculture Registration Application.pdf Informational_Leaflet_No.35_INLAND_AQUACULTURE.pdf
  10. I’ll try and help by adding a couple more Tom; Bobby Barrack, pro angler and frog fisherman Michael Bennett, youngest angler to win the FLW (2008) Fred Roumbanis, pro angler Justin Lucas, pro angler @WRB, @J._Bricker, Bill Murphy?
  11. What Region contains DVL? Is DVL region 5 or 6? Maybe you can ask the DFG via e-mail whether they are planning to stock DVL? according to the Cal DFG website - South Coast Region (Region 5): AskR5@wildlife.ca.gov Inland Deserts Region (Region 6): AskRegion6@wildlife.ca.gov
  12. Sorry to hear about this. Best of luck.
  13. Isn't lifting all those huge bass you caught considered weight training?
  14. @A-Jay is on the right track. I think it is the Living Rubber Model of the Uncle Buck's Buzzer. The Uncle Buck's Buzzer came in Bucktail or Living Rubber. I have an old BPS catalog that shows them for a price of $1.99!
  15. What is the stuff on the treble hooks? Is it chenille? Does it help the lure?
  16. BASS302 replied to A-Jay's topic in Everything Else
I didn't see this until now - Great Job! When I read the title "The Pb Poem", I thought it would be about lead. LOL.
  17. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  18. I agree with WRB. Also, look for a rod that can take abuse (such as an ugly stik).
  19. I think Glenn needs to add a "I'm jealous" emoji!
  20. Heddon makes a Magnum Hellbender. Not sure if that's the type you desire.
