High end spinning rod
I throw them on an NRX+ 803S and 872S. I like the 803S for a weighted wacky sekno, especially when skipping around docks and the 872S for long casts with a weightless senko.

What grease and oils are you using to service baitcasters?
Spool Bearings - TSI 321 or Shimano BFS oil Gears - Daiwa Gear Grease or Call's Drag - Shimano Drag grease or Call's Everything Else - Shimano Bantam oil or Daiwa's reel oil

Berkeley Fusion hooks
Despite me not being much of fan of their hard baits, I have no complaints about their hooks. I do like the trebles and especially their weighted wacky worm hooks. Their trebles are not at the top of my lis though. I would put Owner's above them any day of the week. I also like the Ryugi Pierce hooks as well.

Jerkbait trouble
If they are that deep and staying there, maybe it's time to switch up..... Deep-X 300 in any color ( I like Frozen Tequila and Black Back Chart.) or the Deep Six in Ito Wakasagi.

Bought the Zillion. Now…what line am I spooling it with?
12lb FC Sniper or Invizx. Both lines will work well for everything listed. Not sure about a bobber though.

Spinning reel recommendation for a St Croix legend extreme spinning
JDM Vanquish gets my vote. It's the smoothest reel for the money, IMHO. It's just a pleasure to fish.

What was or is your favorite baitcating reel?
Shimano Core 101 MG. I have several I enjoy and I change my mind from time to time as to which one I like the most but my favorite will always be the Core. If you know the movie, it's like this for me now......

Best Size Spinning Reel for ML spinning rod?
Either a 2000 or 2500 depending on the manufacturer.

Using a clear coat on hard baits/lures to avoid paint loss ?
Some of my best lures are missing paint. I don't think it's ever crossed my mind to put clear coat on them. I would just keep using them until they stop catching fish. Besides, in the muddy water I fish, the action of the lure is just as important as the color, if not more.

Nice bfs rod option
Here is what I would suggest Rod - Kistler Hunt BFS 6'8'' UL or Dobyns Sierra Ultra-Finesse 700C. The Kistler being my favorite Line - For braid, sinking YGK Ohdragon x4 #0.8 or #1.0 PE with a 10lb Fluorocarbon leader or for Fluorocarbon, 5lb Sunline Sniper. Lures - Megabass Griffon BFS or Shimano Baby Macbeth. There are tons of options here but these two are no brainers. Soft Plastic - Ned Rig Worms, anything from Great Lakes Finesse, and some sort of bug bait just for fun.

Lure choice for ponds
Wacky senko but I would caution against doing this too often. When they rip or come off in the water, they become an undigestible meal for the few fish in the pond. Any BFS lure seems to work in my local ponds. Next would be a Ned Rig followed by a shallow crank bait.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I have that color 110 (Pearl Ayu). I got it as a gift from JLS with a reel I ordered. I've caught a few with it. You will have to let us (me) know how the Tequila Baccarac works out. I've been looking at this one. I almost pulled the trigger on it a while ago but I couldn't decide between that and the Evoluzion White Python. They seem very similar other than price. Once I decided to get one of them, both were out of stock and I have not revisited that idea since.

Ryugi Single Hook Stocker II Wallet
I have one and it has come in really handy. I can just stick in a pocket and have pretty everything I need for a day of fishing. I keep a variety of hooks, jig heads and sinkers. Of course it's not everything but it's convenient for the stuff I fish the most.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Picked up a few Megabass lures. The Griffons are the new color schemes. I couldn't pass up my favorite color Kasumi Ito but the GLX Double Chartreuse is unreal. Somehow, some of the new Megabass offerings have even better paint jobs. I did get two of Great Hunting 95s. They are a weird one. They have an internal rod with a front counter balancer that causes the bait to roll side to side. It floats and goes down to about one foot. Still waiting on 3 GH 110s.

Daiwa Steez A II Factory-Set Spool Tension is Bogus?
I have adjusted mine on my two Steez A II's but very little, just minor tweaks. Other than that, I don't touch them. The new Steez SV TW doesn't even have one you can adjust. The biggest influence I have seen on getting the Steez reels with the Zero Adjuster all out of sorts is putting too much line on the spool or in some cases braid that absorbs water. I'm guessing the extra weight just gives the spool too much start up speed.

Best Baitcasting Reel for topwater Frogs, Whopper Plopper style baits - under $250?
Another vote for the JDM Zillion.

Completely Unnecessary 21 Zillion
I would normally say something like "But Why?". It's actually really cool. Nice job. 👍

Replacement Hooks MB Karashi?
I use the Ryugi Pierce Dagger size 10. Megabass has feathered treble hook replacements for them in a size 10 as well. https://thehookuptackle.com/products/feathered-teaser-treble-hooks

Tenacity
I've fished with guy off and on for years that has the opposite of tenacity. He's slow to get to the lake but once there he's in a hurry to leave. Me, I'm the opposite. I've worked out for as long as I can remember and there is something in me that just reaches a certain point and keeps going. It's the same with fishing. But with that, no matter how determined and motivated you are, you have to set a planned limit for yourself with a goal in mind, even if this goal requires failure.

Solar Eclipse
We live in Indy and like @The Bassman said, people and local businesses are hyping it up. My work is giving us 2 hours off and glasses to view it. Some schools are closed. Others have the day set up around the whole thing. Around the city, they are selling tickets at optimum viewing sites. It will be cool to see.

Is this Spring ordinary or extraordinary?
Once the water reached 50 at the surface, the fish seemed to shut off and disappear. Plus, one of my favorite lakes still looks like this..

BFS Jerkbait Rod?
The Megabass P5 Six Eleven has been favorite. I fish all kinds of BFS stuff on it. It has just enough power to bring in some nice fish but it's soft enough to cast light baits a long way.

Has the 21 Zillion made the Metanium & Aldebaran kinda irrelevant?
What's weird is I love the frame on the 2020 but I wasn't a fan of this reel series until the this version came out. For me, my dislike started with the JDM Metanium MG and the US Core equivalent. The Core was just a better feeling reel all around despite being made on the same frame design. Also, years ago I worked on a few of the 2013 Mets and they really didn't do much for me back then. It kind of turned me off on them once more. I really didn't look at one again until the 2020 came out. Another thought on the frame, I'm right handed and use left handed reels. It just feels more natural to me. Plus, I broke my right hand and fractured my wrist. This left me with some limited mobility. The frame on the Met works better for how I need to fish a jig. Being able to palm the reel and turn it handle side down helps my wrist and hand throughout the day.

Line weight/rating on St. Croix rods
If Google is correct, that is a musky rod and is pretty stout. If you are set on braid, I would go with 50lb but I would also try to pay attention to the line diameter and match it closely to the type of lures you are using.
