  2. saw several dump trucks in the parking lot at Lowes this morning and i just have to share...
  3. you’re gonna love this
  4. on the flip side, those guys at the home improvement stores will get lost real quick when they see you checking out with a cart load of Quickrete.
  5. you can do this. a few of my friends are living proof. ?
  6. my grandsons first t rig bass
  7. you ain’t kidding. i haven’t thrown a c rig in years because they either swallow the hook or i don’t set it properly. plus, all those knots.
  8. alot of truth in that. i got a job with our local water dept. in ‘82 after i got out of the Marines. little did i consider all the benefits at the time. i was able to retire at the age of 52, after 30 years, with a state pension, 401K, and lifetime health insurance. the city has since pulled health insurance off the table for those that aren’t grandfathered in. i didn’t get filthy rich digging ditches but they really took care of us.
  9. dialing it in
  10. gotta make time for the fishing!
  11. college didn’t workout for my son. he wanted to work for the school system, coach ball, and retire with a pension. now he is a skilled finish carpenter. he lays some good hardwood floors and can tile anything. he is 32, i really admire him for his ability to come up with a plan B and work hard to see it through. sometimes life just happens.
  12. yes! thanks for asking! a hot dog holder, much like the taco holders, where you can place multiple hot dogs, while you garnish them with all the fixin’s, on your plate and not have to worry about your favorite dog(s) tipping over and spilling all over the place.....quite annoying to say the least. that is all
  13. i throw alot of plastics. down through the years i’ve used scent, Fish Formula, Yum and now, Megastrike. i’m not so sure about it attracting fish to the lure, but it may cause them to hold onto it a little longer once they grab it. i don’t know. i also dip my green pumpkin tails in chartreuse Spike it.
  14. oh yes
  15. git r done ?
  16. a trolling motor will work if you don’t plan on fishing big water. a small outboard and bow mount trolling motor would be ideal. safety gear, seats, and running/trailer lights to get you started and make sure you research your state and local regs before putting her in the water. also, you can get a decent sonar for a little over a hundred bucks. i love that boat!
  17. fwiw: installing an auto bilge is a piece of cake and is well worth the time and money spent. even my little johnny has one.
  18. we seem to have developed a little thermocline thing around here and i’ve had to adjust. my deep bite has fallen off real bad. swt’s are in the 85 degree range and 17’ deep seems to be the cutoff, according to the sonar. so i’ve moved back in the creeks a little further and kept my eyes on the Garmin. found one decent area in particular, but some others weren’t so great. ground out 9 spotties and one largemouth.
  19. hate it for you man. i’d let that place “rest” awhile, if you get my drift.
  20. ouch Justin ^^^ grandson’s first year in coach pitch
  21. tell me about it ?
  22. looks good to me, all except that junction box needs a cover. sorry, i couldn’t resist. ?
