  1. Too much sugar for a dime. ?
  2. Don't know about lucky or unlucky, but that is some dang good stories !!!!!
  3. I use mono on all my cranking rods and top water rods, FC on worm rods and spinnerbait rods. The only time I use braid with a leader is on my spinning rods and that is only to prevent a lot of twist.Nothing wrong with mono on all.
  4. We need to know a little more info, details on the rod, what are you going to use it for. If this is your only rod, I would put 14# mono on it.
  5. Tried just using FC but now i just use braid/FC, won't go back to FC. Braid don't have the twist problems and cast so much better.
  6. The last couple of years they have started it the evening before BF. They don't advertise on their side until the day of BF.
  7. What a great story !!!! Thank you for sharing.
  8. Tackle Warehouse sale has started !!!!!
  9. Happy Thanksgiving, hope everyone has a great day with family and friends.
  10. I have always kept the split ring on cranksbaits and have tied direct, never used a snap. A snap is another thing to go wrong and you should retie your knot often which you probably won't do using a snap. JMHO.
  11. Nice find, excited to see all of them cleaned up.
  12. I tried the M/L but it just did not work for me. Ended up up a Lew's Custom M/F paired with a 30 size Pflueger Supreme XT with 10# braid and a 7# leader. What works for one person might not work for another. You just have to try different rod/reels sometimes to see what works for you.
  13. I have both baitcasters and spinning rigs. I have used spinning more this year than before. I throw a lot of Ned rigs and drop shots. Spinning is sure more easy on you shoulders arm and wrist. Nothing wrong with spinning for all, Tom Mann did a pretty good job of it.
  14. I did all of that and it did help some. I found a couple of guy who say that it is not a foot problem but a leg problem. Check out these this video. @Bluebasser86 Here is another. http://sock-doc.com/plantar-fasciitis-treatment/
  15. @Bluebasser86 I know exactly how sore PF can be, feels like walking on glass. I got it this summer but I am just about over it. Found some things to do for it on the web. In fact, this morning I don't have any pain. Don't know that it is completely cured but it sure feels good now.
  16. I wish all of them the best. I really like the BASS format better than the MLF. Time will tell.
  17. Doesn't sound good. Hopefully they will put somebody in charge that knows the fishing industry.
  18. As long as the wind is not blowing too hard, I will fish all winter. I actually catch more in winter than the middle of the summer.
  19. If I use anything it's MegaStrike. I remember when Fish Formula came out. Seems like everyone was using it, Mr. Dance was pushing it pretty hard.
  20. See if Motor Mate has a model to fit your motor. Keeps the motor steady and no bending over to install it.
  21. I have 2 colors in my boat, green pumpkin and junebug, I figure one will work.
  22. Or you you can buy some of these cranks. https://corestrikebaits.myshopify.com/
  23. Nice catch, thanks for sharing.
  24. I have had nothing but great support from Garmin. You are probably lucky to get that type of transducer at all.
