I’m just now starting to line up my early cold water prespawn set ups. This is what will be on the deck: 3/8 oz pitchin jig with a zoom chunk 3/8 ounce swim jig with a z craw trailer 1/2 oz flippin jig with rage bug T-Rig Senko weightless T-Rig Rage craw pegged 1/4 oz T-Rig Lizard pegged 1/4 ounce 1/2 ounce tandem Spinnerbait and trailer 1/2 Chatterbait with minnow trailer. Eight rigs for cold water lethargic fish. Colors will be water clarity defined and most likely be a derivation of black blue to start. I’m feeling it.

I’ve never owned a Kistler Helium. Kistler outsourced blanks from Lamiglas for a time. Then they built off of NFC blanks. I understand Kistler now rolls blanks in house. I have a few NFC Edge rods and the MBR 736-1C Silver Widow is the most sensitive rod I’ve fished with. If a new Helium is even close at $247.00, that would get my attention fast.
