Well it outlasted my whirlpool washer.

not entirely sure why I participate in forums.
All I know, is all the abuse I’ve taken on other forums has aged me.

that's it. i am not starting any more friendships with retired people or teachers.
That’s interesting. Since I retired I can’t think of my having any new friends, or old ones for that matter.

Dobyns Champion 704 crank rod glass vs graphite
The 704CB glass is extremely moderate and It’s my least used rod. The standard 704 CB is an outstanding jerk bait rod. The 705CB is much more versatile, handling Crush 50’s to 5XD’s. Hope this helps.

Your Work Ethic
This is a great conversation. My Dad was my hero. He was born in Saskatchewan in 1928. His father died when he was eleven and had seven siblings. He cut wood and did farm work as a child, had to quit school at fourteen to help with bills. He worked for the railroad at fifteen and was a telegraph lineman at sixteen. Dad wanted to be a builder and was self taught in every aspect of construction and was an architect. I worked with him as far back as I can remember. He worked me like a man and his demands were high. Working hurt or sick was the norm. This was my model. My employers or co employees never had to question my values. I always taught my kids about my Dad and how hard he worked. When he was battling cancer he worked as much as he could tolerate. We rebuilt his fence and deck before he died. He didn’t want to leave it undone.

- Help me understand smallmouth movement
Smallmouth and largemouth are both capable of adapting to conditions presented to them. But if either has the ability to locate preferred environments, smallmouth seem to gravitate to cooler, clearer waters than largemouth. Smallmouth don’t shy away from grass, especially deep grass. They also adapt well to waters with current. My experience is Smallie’s are much more transient and do roam but seem to follow contours as much as cover edges. I also noted they will move vertically often and move “up” to feed. Smallmouth are masters at positioning in current. Smallmouth seem to have feeding stations and resting stations. Timing for when they are feeding is something I have yet to fully grasp. One thing that seems true is if you got bit and it just shut off, move deeper before you move horizontally. Just some thoughts.- Favorite Drop Shot Hook Sizes ?

I could not refuse and didn’t want to wake up to a horse head in my bed. I drove back down to the NFC-Edge’s new pro shop and to my surprise, I was allowed to check on hand stock and discovered they had a small selection of Silver Windows on hand. I also found out I could get the current on line discount. I grabbed an MBR 736-1C. I go to pay for it and the pro tells me to go ahead and come behind the counter and pick out my free rod. They had a promo that allowed customers to get a cosmetic blem rod free until they are gone. Most were Delta series but I found an EFX 694-1C but could not find the blemish. No matter. Free is a very good price.- Hello from Pawleys Island, SC (ties to Charlotte, NC and Summerville, SC areas as well)
