My recommendation is something long. Something at least 7' preferably 7'6". A longer rod will better allow you to take up line on a hookset and get better penetration, especially on long casts. Oh and at Medium heavy or heavy power.

The Nuvi 40LM models are nice. They have a big screen and the lifetime map upgrades which are especially useful for those of us in metropolitan areas that have constant road changes. You can get them on clearance at Dick's Sporting Goods for $90

Getting a little jon boat changed my fishing completely. It opens up a lot of options and has really broadened my experience. You can find used jon boats for dirt cheap on craigslist. I got a little 10 footer that works great for me until I'm able to afford a bigger boat.

Ok, you keep talking about Alabama being good on paper so I guess you didn't watch them play this year. They clearly played their way in, I cannot understand how you think getting beaten by Iowa State is "playing your way in." You are too hung up on the conference championship thing. THERE IS NO PLAYOFF SYSTEM. Conference champions don't play conference champions. Why do you seem to think that is how this system works? I understand that is how you want it to work, but that is not the criteria being used right now. With how disparate the conferences are right now, it would be ridiculous to award a MAC or WAC champion with placement in a game with the SEC champion when there are 2-4 teams from the ACC/BIG10/PAC12/SEC that could beat the MAC/WAC/CUSA/MW champion 9 out of 10 times. I'm sorry but I don't want to watch a champion from a big conference demolish some bulls*#t team that comes from a conference that had only 1 team that had been ranked all season. Does a WAC champion deserve to go to the playoffs more than an SEC runner-up that would crush them 99 out of 100 games?

Yes, clearly Alabama didn't deserve to be there. They proved that by beating the #1 and only unbeaten team in the country. They obviously aren't the best team in the country and would have lost miserably to Houston or OSU or any other conference champions; champions who lost to teams like Southern Miss and Iowa State... Puh-lease.

As an undefeated SEC champion who had already beaten Alabama, yes, they deserved to be there. Who is to say OSU would have fared any better? I think it would have been even uglier if it had been any other team. Really? Even though those teams lost at least one game and played in weak conferences they deserve to play more than Alabama....who plays in the unarguably toughest conference and still only had one loss to the reigning #1 team by 3 POINTS!!! If we are looking at one loss teams, you can't honestly tell me teams that lost to Iowa State, Southern Mississippi, and TCU should be put ahead of a team with one loss (by 3pts) to the #1 team? And if only conference champs should be allowed to play each other for the NC, then why only mention the three teams that you did? What about the ACC, BIG10, and PAC12 champions?

So a team that loses to Iowa State deserves to be in the NC more than a team that only lost to the #1 undefeated team by a field goal in overtime? I have to disagree with that one. and by your logic, as far as best records, what makes you choose OK State instead of Houston? or Boise State for that matter? They each only lost one game as well.

The laws are going to vary state-by-state but in most states unloaded and ammo separate from the gun is going to be fine. I usually try to put the gun in the trunk where it's not accessible by passengers but if that's not possible then put it in the back seat (for instance, I have an extended cab truck so I put mine in a case under the back seat.) Most police officers will be understanding about owners not wanting to put guns in the bed of a pickup. I think this is because they generally care about a stolen gun more than an unloaded long gun in a vehicle. From the state troopers I've talked to it seems they care much more about handguns being in the passenger area of the care than long guns.

The "Sweet" series also come with different turrets that you can switch to match the weight of bullet you are using for trajectory compensation. Carrington, does your rifle have the Accutrigger?

Dick's just started selling them. They are almost exactly like the "G1 Extreme" except a little shorter. My uninformed guess is that they are replacing the "G1 Extreme."

oh yeah, it's a huge commercial industry. Look up some stuff about gill netting. It's big issue in this area currently. Commercial fishing is a HUGE factor on the striper population in the Chesapeake bay and I'm sure it's an issue along the rest of the coast too.

If they are changing the schedule while you aren't there and not calling you to tell you and then holding you responsible for being late then you should call the HR department. If they end up taking disciplinary action for you being late on multiple occasions then you need to be on the record first.

Yeah but that's only if you can find the stuff. I think you will probably be limited to buying it online unless you have a good gun store around you. I've had a couple guys come in to my work and ask for it and I just laugh at them until I realize they were actually expecting us to have it.

Does anyone even produce the ammo besides FN? On CTD all the ammo in 5.7 they offer is made by FN. I'd go for something else, preferably something that uses ammo you can buy anywhere and isn't ugly as sin
