  1. That would scare the bejesus out of me. I may have to check the undies....
  2. I priced a trip to Argentina for peacocks....5 to 10 large for a week including flights and transfers. If I win the lottery....oh yeah!!!
  3. Correct, vanilla ice and that is definitely a sample of "under pressure." He was actually involved in a lawsuit and gave some lame excuse as to how the beats were different.
  4. paparock, the akita story brought a little tear to my eye....so sad to hear, but that was the right (hard) thing to do... :'(
  5. WOOHOO!!! Congratulations
  6. I didnt actually see the little tiff in here until a few minutes ago....fight nice
  7. Awesome trip....you may have convinced me to get the boat back out.
  8. Not sure of his name, but there is a member on here that has a pic of a treble buried in his finger....makes me cringe just thinking about it.
  9. PM sent, I wanna see some too....
  10. Great first year fishing exclusively for bass, especially in tournies. Partner and I finished first in last tourney of the year and didnt go a trip this year without at least catching a dink... On the last "fun" fishing trip of the year, caught 5 on jigs....first 5 ever on them. Definitely plan on expanding this technique in the spring cold water season. Over the winter, I already have the wishlist laid out w/ a new trolling motor at the top of the list.
  11. My fishing began b/c I was an only child. It was a way for me to stay entertained w/o really needing anyone else to have fun. When we went camping, I would disappear on my bike, fishing rod and 5 gallon bucket in hand, and return after dark with bluegills and whatever else i could catch. The first time I became serious about fishing (especially c&r), I picked up a fly rod and amassed a central group of buddies that put a serious hurting on the trout and smallmouth of Central PA. When I moved to Chambersburg 5 years ago, I became interested in fishing for Largemouth and havent looked back.... During May, I will fish for spawning smallmouths...but the rest of the year is greenbacks only. 2006 was the first year since I started fishing that I didnt devote at least one day to catching trout. Heck, I even spent the sacred "First day of trout in PA" on Shawnee Lake fishing for piggies!!!!!!!
  12. Well now, lets see... M-F work 8-4 for the state. At least three days a week, work at Lowe's in the evening. Gotta see the g/f once a week (minmum, she gets mad if not ) Winter and archery season cut into the fishing time here in PA as well. From March through September, probably average 4-5 days a week, so 5 times 4...carry the two....20 times a month...times 7 months....carry the 4 and 1.....it works out to around 140 days give or take a few. Thanks for doing math with me today!!!
  13. My comfort zone is under 10 ft. Deeper than that i feel like I am in no man's land.
  14. There really should be a lot more posts on here. I mean seriously, with almost 7000 members this thing should go through the roof with posts... I dont think all the mods have posted here yet, whats up with that?
  15. Great idea Muddy. Definitely worth considering...maybe the "Mod Gods" will hear your request.
  16. Nice catch Chris.

  18. You gotta laugh that two of his friends said he tampered with it, and he STILL claims that he did nothing.... Just stupid. Grow up, own up to the fact that you are a cheater, and move on...
  19. Hmmmm.....I can only imagine what Glenn's response might be to this thread. I dont have the slightest clue about that screen name.... ;D
  20. My nickname and pic go hand in hand actually... My absolute favorite lure to throw is the Jimmy Houston Speedbead spinnerbait by Terminator. It just kind of fits... Great idea for a thread!!!!
  21. I wore my camo pants during every tournament this year, more for comfort than good luck, but hey....whatever works!
  22. I work for the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare...I am around many people on a daily basis that are unable to understand the importance of being on time for appointments. This has to do with providing for your family's needs for food, medical assistance, etc...and I have NO TOLERANCE for those who are late. Fishing for fun, I can live with someone being late, just not too late.... Tournament day....well, lets just say your rear end better be where it needs to be. Luckily enough, the partner doesnt keep me waiting. He is usually the one in the driveway first...
  23. Does deadsticking result in alot of gut hooks?
