  1. I can't help you with your query, however if you come to St. Clair that would be a different story. BTW, welcome to the best, friendliest, most knowlegeable, and helpful fishing site on the net. Falcon
  2. Whatever kind of fish it is, I hope they never make it to Lake St. Clair. Falcon
  3. Hi Deb, Twelve years ago we lost our niece. That was so difficult, I can't imagine losing a child. As Mike mentioned we should never have to bury our children. I'm never good at knowing what to say at a time like this. Please know, you and the Glisson's will be in our prayers. God Bless, Falcon
  4. LOL You just never know how that monkey family is going to behave on any given day. Falcon
  5. I'm with fisherboy, although I think I have caught one on a Rat-L-Trap. Falcon
  6. I sent in my rebate the same day my reel was delivered. When I sent in my rebate for my SX, it took about five weeks to get the check. Yes, $69.95 is a great price for that reel. Falcon
  7. LOL I have to agree with Russ on this one Burley. Falcon
  8. I would contact Abu Garcia. They can give you accurate information. Falcon
  9. All the lures mentioned are very good suggestions. In all the years I've fished for pike, one thing I've found to be true is they like bright and gaudy colored lures. Lures with alot of flash. Good luck, and have fun. Falcon
  10. That's exactly what happened to me Russ. I was always 6' tall and 180lbs. BP was always perfect and cholesterol was good, then I turned 42. Everything turned to crap. Now I have to watch my diet, take pills and monitor my BP. The exercise thing is tough with my spine problems, but I do what I can. I hope everybody over forty gets an annual physical. I can't stress enough how important it is. Falcon

Welcome to the best fishing site on the net. Falcon
  12. One of my neighbors uses spoons for muskies with pretty good success. I've never had any luck with them. Falcon
  13. Glad you're still her Gary, It's very strange, you're the second person I know that had "heart burn" symptoms and it turned out to be a heart attack. Life changes are difficult but necessary. Work real hard at it. I'm still hoping to see you here fishing on St. Clair with me. Good luck, Rick
  14. Over the years the most productive crankbait for me has been the Rapala Shad Rap, deep or shallow divers depending on water depth, in shad color. Another is the jointed Shad Rap in red crawdad. This year I tried the new colors, bleeding olive flash and bleeding pearl with decent success. Falcon
  15. I have a bunch of them. 1-large spinnerbaits 2-Believers 6" & 13" 3-Joe Bucher Shallow Raiders 4-Rapala Super Shad Raps 5-X-Rap Jointed Shad 6-Bucktails (in-line spinners) 7-Zara Mag Spook The one I caught this morning was on a spinnerbait. Falcon
  16. Wow!! If I had a golden shiner that big, he'd have been swimming at the end of my muskie rig. Falcon
  17. Happy Birthday!! Only 40? You're still a pup. Falcon
  18. Here in S.E. Michigan, gas is around $2.80 per gallon. Falcon
  19. I use mine for muskies. It's a very good bait. The St. Clair bass haven't shown any interest yet. Falcon
  20. I've had quite a few fish spew their lunch on me. It's pretty messy. Falcon
  21. That was priceless!! Did you have a replica made of the 189# bass? Falcon
  22. I've caught many on shad and crawdad colored crankbaits. Falcon
  23. Very cool idea. Falcon
  24. Dom, I'm sorry to hear you're having a problem with some clown here. I will miss your humor. I look forward to your posts every day. Many days I've come to the computer in miserable pain yet you could always bring a smile to my face with something you said. Take a break and come back soon. You will be missed. Falcon
