  1. I think some of you will really dig this. www.fullyautomaticairgun.com
  2. X2 I think that the best one out there is the full sized Fat Free Shad. (Wish they would bring back some of the old colors though) I have a couple of the Flat CB D20 and I have caught fish on them but I seem to do better with other cranks. Don't care too much for the SK series 6. I can't seem to get them down much more than 12ft while I can get the Bombers down over 18ft. I also like the DT-16 which has a very tight wiggle which seems to turn them on during the winter or more calm conditions.
  3. I use trick worms on 1/4oz-3/8oz shakey heads and throw it on 15lb floro. You'll do fine with your baitcaster. Remember, no matter what anyone says, a shakey head is no more than a worm on a jighead. People t-rig 4" robos with 1/16th oz bullet weigths and others t-rig 10" powerworms with 1/2 oz bullet weights. Do they both work? Yes! A shakey head is no different.

Never understood this one. A lot of peole say this but in all of my years split shoting, a little moss on the split shot never kept a bass from eating my bait. I personally love the added convenience of the tabs. Tubes, Zoom C-tails, and reapers are some of my favorite split shot baits.
  5. Sounds like typical tournament politics. Don't know if calling headquaters would do any good unless there are other people to back up what you heard. If not it is just your word against him and you will come out looking like a sore loser. Not that you are, that is just how I have seen things like this go down.
  6. I'd say the old Abu Torno's. They were butt ugly but they fished great. Smooth and cast great. Still have one that I use for inshore fishing.
  7. Nice fish T-Rig! I've got that same black buzzjet. Love that thing.
  8. I have seen this in Eagle Claw hooks as well. I think it has to do with the packaging process. I highly doubt that it is a rust inhibitor.
  9. I think you answered your own question. When I fish from shore, I am like you. I will throw a reaction bait for a little while but if I am going to stay in that area for a while, I will put it down and pick up a worm. I will pick up the reaction every ten or fifteen minutes, give it a hand full of casts, then go back to the worm. But there are times where you can stick with a reaction and pound an area untill a fish moves in.
  10. I would say Proline but they have the EWG that you don't want. I just started throwing these Revenge jigs and really dig em.
  11. I was expecting to see a picture of a Code. I get the Abu combo, I know why people would like it and I respect it, but wouldn't own it.
  12. Digging that Millionaire! Haven't seen it yet. Thanks for sharing. That AE74 is a sweet reel. Too bad it went out of production years ago. I have a number of Morrum UM's and UM Forrells and have no idea why they stopped making them.
  13. Too cool Redline!
  14. Check your local regulations before doing so!!!! I don't know what it is like where you are but a cast net is illegal to use in fresh water in California.
  15. X2 PS, weightless senkos are a killer skipping bait.

    Very nice!
  17. I was wondering where you were. Nice fish!
  18. Doesn't suprise me at all. My buddy caught a 13lb striper at Castaic durning a night tournament on a T-rigged 7" power worm.
  19. I've used Tyger leader in the past to deal with Barracuda while fishing swimbaits for Sandbass. I've had good luck with it.
  20. I've seen that on OLN before. Pretty funny.
  21. Gotcha! I don't blame you. I have a zoom hickey that I throw on a BC with 12lb and it casts fine but there are times when I wish I was throwing it on spinning gear.
  22. Try Diamond Illusion and you wont be able to say that anymore Plus I have found it to be more abrasion resistant.
  23. X2 but I too have only fished Invizx. I have tried 5 different fluorocarbons and Invizx is my favorite.
  24. Great review, thanks! There was a time when Fenwicks were THE bass rod. Still are great rods but they just don't seem to be on top like they used to be. I have an old Techna AV that I wouldn't trade for anything.
