  1. My earliest memory of Christmas day was that Santa left me an all metal great big fire truck. My fondest memory was a .22 rifle, and Dad taking out to teach me to shoot it. My worst memory was that my parents were too drunk to go shopping, so handed me a $20 bill instead.
  2. With the exception of the death of Michael Jackson (just a slimy bug on the windshield of history) I agree with most all that has been said above. Being totally selfish, what I will remember most about this decade is that I joined BassResource and became an active participant. Due to this board and the Road Trips, I have made three life-long friends. A man of my temperament does not make friends easily, so I cherish each of them and thank BassResource for providing such a priceless opportunity.
  3. Why don't you ask for the Sun, the Moon and the Stars while you're at it? Do you often have others do ALL of your homework for you? Geez! :
  4. He said to me ... I don't know why you wear a bra; you've got nothing to put in it. I said to him ... You wear pants don't you? He said to me ...Shall we try swapping positions tonight? I said ... That's a good idea - you stand by the stove & sink while I sit on the sofa and do nothing but fart. He said to me ... What have you been doing with all the grocery money I gave you? I said to him ... Turn sideways and look in the mirror! He said to me ... Why don't women blink during foreplay? I said to him ... They don't have time. He said to me ... How many men does it take to change a roll of toilet paper? I said to him ... I don't know; it's never happened. He said to me ... Why is it difficult to find men who are sensitive, caring and good-looking? I said to him ... They already have boyfriends. He said ... What do you call a woman who knows where her husband is every night? I said ... A widow. He said to me ... Why are married women heavier than single women? I said to him ... Single women come home, see what's in the fridge and go to bed. Married women come home, see what's in the bed and go to the fridge.
  5. Wow Catt, you and Fishfordollars birthdays are so close to each other, I'm beginning to wonder if you two are twins. Happy Birthday!
  6. Thanks to Infidel I am now in Rage Tail heaven. Jared, the first chance I get I'm going to pair up that Rage Baby Craw with one of the Shaky Head jigs you sent me and head out for a lunker. My thanks Infidel!
  7. My vote is obviously with the Saints, but I believe this will be a hard-fought game. Dallas HAS to win this game or their playoff hopes are nil. The spread is only seven points in favor of the Saints. That's the tightest spread in the last four of their games. That said, GEAUX SAINTS!
  8. Oh! The Weather Outside Is Frightful, But The SAINTS Are So Delightful. The World Should Already Know... We're 13-0, 13-0, 13-0! We Won't Show Any Signs Of Stoppin', And The Dome Gets Pretty Poppin'. But The SAINTS Only Have One Goal... SuperBowl, SuperBowl, SuperBowl!
  9. From one Old Fart to another, Happy Birthday!
  10. I agree with those above. While it would be a lot of fun talking with the Pros, I would much prefer to learn from a guy who has fished his favorite lake for years and knows it like the back of his hand. Wham-bam-thank-you-mamm techniques are all well and good for the pros, but I do not fish tournaments, nor do I want to.
  11. OK, that's it. I've taken all of the abuse from you guys that I'm going to take. You will never again see me walking around with a box of Franzia, but you may see me walking around with a gallon milk jug. I really enjoy my milk.
  12. Great stuff Glenn. So, how many of those celebrities are going to show up at the road trip? ;D
  13. Other than creeks channels and points, I look for man-made structure; primarily road beds.
  14. It's truly amazing how wide that yellow streak that's running down my back can get when I hear thunder.
  15. In defense of the road trip attendees, it seems that most drink very little - if at all. On my three previous road trips I have seen only one person who obviously had too much to drink. I couldn't be everywhere, and was usually in bed by 10:00, so it's a good bet that I missed a few. What I'm getting at is that the road trips are not a drunken brawl. It's just a bunch of guys and gals getting together for a few days of fishing and camaraderie. For those of you who are considering attending the trip, don't let our "booze blustering" deter you or your family from attending. In reality, we're really a pretty mild bunch of folks.
  16. You have no idea of the gyrations you can go through when your butt is in flames. I still think I caused it. As for being an alien? No habla espanole (or however it's spelled.)
  17. Against my better judgement, I'm willing to forgo the grape one evening for a taste or ten of the real backinthebackerewoods stuff. 8-)
  18. It's my fault. I had one of the worst cases of gas that I have had in years and made the mistake of walking too close to the fireplace.
  19. Brian, I'm thinking he's talking about pure grain.
  20. That reminds me. I have a Facebook page. Haven't logged on in months. Maybe it's an Old Fart thing. :-/
  21. What's a Shimano? Is it a lure of some sort? :-/
  22. I you want the best flavorful and most unhealthy oil, try using lard. The only time I use it is when deep frying a turkey.
  23. If one imbibes, would he be called an imbibicil?
  24. I had LEDs on my previous trailer and never had a problem - and never unplugged them. My new (used) trailer has bulbs. No problems yet, but the first time one of them burns out, all trailer lighting will be replaced with LEDs.
