For those not imitating trout
Wow. I was just getting ready to go pull the trigger on a couple swimbaits and this will now be one of them. That looks great. Perch is one of my go to colors. I'm not going to complain about it but a little more yellow would be nice.

Foxboro MA BPS Update
First Store In 'Patriot Place' To Open In November (WBZ) FOXBORO A huge Bass Pro Shops will open in mid-November as the anchor store to Robert Kraft's "Patriot Place" development next to Gillette Stadium. Officials from the Missouri-based sporting goods chain were in Foxboro Thursday to give reporters a sneak-peek inside. The Bass Pro Shops will be a 150,000 square foot store that's the size of three-and-a-half football fields. It will include an aquarium and an indoor waterfall. Kraft says the amenities will make the store an ideal draw for "Patriot Place," a $500 million retail development that will include movie theaters and other retail outlets, like Christmas Tree Shops and Victoria's Secret.

Knots you use
I like the uni on cranks. For everything else I use the palomar. Line size hasn't been a problem for me with the palomar either.

New Rod and Reel Combo Ideas
For the reel I'd go with a REVO. Can't go wrong with an ABU. No suggestion on the rod. I still haven't graduated from the BPS $30 graphite series. lol.

Most Overrated lures....
Rattle Trap is one of my more productive lures. I usually do well just burnin em reel fast. As for the most overrated I'd have to say I think the spinner bait is the most overrated. Been using em for years and never caught anything. O.K. just kidding. ;D Love spinners. Hate chatterbaits though. Bought one last year and still haven't caught anything on it. Even tried fishing it like a jig and nada.

Hookset with frogs revisited
Excellent info. Thanks! I was just getting ready to search this subject. I use a bronzeye and have been missing a lot of hooksets lately. Starting to get frustrating as I've missed a couple really good fish.

Deepwater Senko Fishing
I personally don't think there is a depth too deep to fish stick worm style baits. I have been fishing water deeper than my usual 8-10 ft lakes/ponds that I usually fish and I've been casting out just letting the worm sink all the way to the bottom. I've been fishing in about 25-30 ft of water. My philosophy is you never know what's down there and people do catch LM in 30 ft of water on occasion. With that said I wouldn't spend a whole day fishing stick worms in 30 ft of water but it nevers hurts to give it a shot for a bit.

Soprano's Finale
NEWARK, N.J. - Sopranos fans who thought the series' open-ended conclusion was a setup for a movie may be in for disappointment: Creator David Chase says it isn't so. Chase went to France before the airing of the much-debated finale of the HBO series because he wanted to avoid what he called all the Monday morning quarterbacking. But like a true New Jersey loyalist, he granted one interview to The Star-Ledger of Newark, which posted his comment early Tuesday on its Web site. I don't think about (a movie) much, he told the paper. I never say never. An idea could pop into my head where I would go, Wow, that would make a great movie,' but I doubt it. I'm not being coy, he added. If something appeared that really made a good Sopranos' movie and you could invest in it and everybody else wanted to do it, I would do it. But I think we've kind of said it and done it. Chase said he would leave it to fans to interpret the show's last scene for themselves. It featured the members of the Soprano family arriving for dinner as Journey's Don't Stop Believin' plays. Others in the restaurant include a man in a Members Only jacket who goes to the bathroom, which some fans have interpreted as a nod to the scene in The Godfather in which Michael Corleone retrieves a gun from the bathroom before a shooting. As the music and tension build, the screen suddenly goes silent and dark. I have no interest in explaining, defending, reinterpreting, or adding to what is there, said Chase, 61, who grew up in North Caldwell. People get the impression that you're trying to (mess) with them, and it's not true. You're trying to entertain them, he said. Anybody who wants to watch it, it's all there. Another problem with a movie is that so many characters died in the last season. Chase said he has considered going back to a day in 2006 that you didn't see, but then (Tony's children) would be older than they were then and you would know that Tony doesn't get killed. It's got problems. Chase also elaborated on how he decided to make the Journey classic the last music played on the series. It didn't take much time at all to pick it, but there was a lot of conversation after the fact. I did something I'd never done before: In the location van, with the crew, I was saying, What do you think?' When I said, Don't Stop Believin',' people went, What? Oh my God!' I said, I know, I know, just give a listen,' and little by little, people started coming around.

the mental deficiencies continue...
It happens to all of us. Unfortunately for you it was during a tourney. I lost a very large possible Northern Pike yesterday because my drag wasn't set properly. Stay positive and don't forget to double check everything before you make that first cast. You'll get em.
