It's outside the mouth between its eyes, I can post a pic of the fish I got you can kinda see the bump where it was hooked but I took the hook out already

All LMB. Nothing over 2#s tho. Trying to stay on fishing topic, don't wanna freak anyone out.

I was hooking them in the mouth, Ill have to pick up heavier line. I've been using 12# since it's all j have right now. It's just weird that it's not even getting I'm their mouth, it's on the top of their heads.

I am but it's a fairly big Lake, no way I'm seeing the same bass every time I go out.

Recently I've started using zman chatter baits, it's quickly become my first thrown bait when I start and the last thing I throw before I leave.. But recently I've been hooking fish in the top of their heads, almost right between the eyes, luckily I've missed their eyes all 3 times I've had this happen. Am I doing somthing wrong? Or are the fish hitting the lure differently? Maybe missing it but giving it a bump and I'm taking that as a hit so setting the hook is driving it into their heads? I just catch and release so I don't wanna hurt the bass and then throw em back just to die.

Looking forward to the video of you fishing with the broom. I've had some LMB that jump multiple times trying to shake the hook, and others that once they're hooked they practically swim to you. It's an any given day thing.

I would be surprised if you didn't either, all you gotta do is drop the line down with some shrimp on the end and reel it back it.

I've been saving all my busted up plastics for doing this during the winter time, since I won't be able to fish here in Missouri. I'm hoping they turn out well. Kinda wondering how bad the smell is gonna be from melting them down. The lady won't be happy if I stink up her microwave

I'd be totally ok with living somewhere I can fish all year round. But I tried that when we went on vacation to myrtle beach, even said everyone could get jobs at Walmart till we get real jobs.... The ol lady didn't go for that

I actually plan on starting to repoury senkos and other soft plastics during the winter months. I'm sure I'll get it all done in a weekend and then cry because I can't fish. Was thinking about trying to take a small weekend vacation down south to i can fish somthing but I'm not sure yet.

Have you tried white frogs? I've herd that when all other frogs have failed people the bass will hit a white frog they've never seen before.

I had a black one last weekend list it on a down branch just got a sexy shad one Friday. I like being able to feel the vibration for some reason, IL try fishing it slower next time I'm out.

This is the only type of spinner / buzz baits I've had any success on. I'm starting to really love them. Ive been throwing them first when I walk up to fish. I reel in and get a nice vibration going and pause for a second Or 2 and then start cranking again. Is that the right way to work these? Or is there a better way.

I'm new to fishing but I've been catching a lot of juvenile LMB and it just looks like a young LMB to me.

I bank fish as well, I'd chalk that up as a win ending the day with 2-4 fish for a few hours spent.

I second the Senko idea, once I started fishing them correctly I catch somthing nearly every time I go out.

My wife is the best, I can have as much fishing tackle & equipment as I can hide
