  1. I nearly got sunburned yesterday, it was a sweaty one. Tuesday is predicted to be 35/23 tho
  2. I fished 4 hours this Christmas morning, I think I caught about 7ish. 2 largemouth, 2 crappie, one smallmouth and two meanmouth. Purple worm did most damage, Weather was amazing. lucky loon was swimming around in front of my dock when I embarked
  3. @Darth-Baiter, I did something similar. Bought an abu baitcaster with all my change as a kid. Dropped it before I ever fished with it , had to take it apart and repair it. But I had to actually fish with it so I became a maintenance man instead of engineer 😂 😂
  4. They got it up and running in about an hour, coming back Friday to install a riser. Ole boy says I should be able to clear a blockage with a broom handle after they put that in . (And of course throw away said broom handle )
  5. Always pack your protractor for fishing trips to achieve 112.5 degrees 😂
  6. Merry Christmas, my crapper was full
  7. @Team9nine, I think most of our highland lakes such as Norris and Cherokee are at 1000ft elevation and stay much warmer but they are massive and have long retention time. We also have chilhowee and tellico that stay fairly constant temp in winter because they are fed by the water coming out of the bottom of Fontana dam which is like 400 feet deep. Douglas is a wildcard because it’s the first dam on the French broad, lots of untamed water comes into that massive reservoir, I’ve seen it frozen thick enough where people were driving ATVs on it ironically the highland lakes typically stay warmer than the TN river in the bottom of the valley, the shallow swift waters cool faster than the ultra deep still waters
