  10. @Susky River Rat, 😂! We trained that one in the photo to eat carpenter bees but then she started eating stink bugs and burping in our face haha
  11. We’ve put all of our dogs in canoes and kayaks, including the one that weighed about 95 lbs
  12. @Blue Raider Bob, I’m sure you remember how wide the river is in Knoxville, maybe 150 yards? Seemed triple that down your way but that makes sense, rivers only get bigger flowing 400+ miles downstream
  13. Right back at ya buddy
  14. I remember seeing it near the Shiloh battlefield as a kid and couldn’t believe how fast and wide it was ! And that’s the skinny part….. Did you move away from your farm and pond??
  15. Love worms for jig trailers. Dead ringer is a tad thin for a thick jig hook but it’s my main worms for fishing, I use the 4” on light wire round ball jigheads. I would imagine it works fine but I can never keep the hook going straight thru it. I like U tail or speed worm better on skirted jig with thick hook. Also straight tail senko is good. Zoom fat Albert is another great jig trailer
  16. Nice fish Bob! I’ve only been there once or twice, the river is huge down there
  17. I somehow missed this until now. Others have already posted eloquently, I would just echo the words of @A-Jay, @Glenn, and @Fishing_Rod. And most of all I would like to say a big THANK YOU for all the knowledge and memories And thank you to @Big Hands for the update and for relaying our posts to his wife and other family. Tell her we are praying for them all In a loose ode to the movie “a river runs through it,” I’d like to say that Tom was a fine fisherman.
  18. Little snippets of Friday Saturday and Sunday
