  1. Nothing would surprise me after learning where you learned how to thwart spammers!!!
  2. Zombie thread. Anyone want to guess what that is?
  3. I tried last year and couldn’t cipher it either. Had to take both my shoes off, county school product you know…..
  4. You nailed it! rumor has it the he is also the master of the barbecue grill
  5. It would be beautiful
  6. Former Tennessee titans and Washington commanders football player Albert haynesworth used to run up and down thru Knoxville 80-90 mph , everyone recognized his boat. You could hear it coming from a long way off
  7. If you’re wanting to bash rocks, maybe get the deeper running version. So far I’ve only hit logs with the 1.5, it goes about 2 feet down. Bill holding up as of now
  8. Photography too??? You are a true renaissance man
  9. It will slow wobble on top. But they eat it when it sinks too
  10. I don’t suppose I’ve ever laid eyes on hydrilla, maybe in FLA. one of my buddies would say “throw a spinner blade thru it…….”
  11. I wish TVA wouldn’t permit the spraying of vegetation! So much fun too fish
  12. It’s ultra easy and cheap to change so why not? Massive flathead screwdriver and a gear lube pump and you’re good to go for the rest of your life
  13. Not in the south! Haha Ive usually got too many buddies wanting to go after work each day, put 2-3 in my boat then tell the rest to bring a kayak or use my canoe
  14. Sounds like they were biting good, some days they won’t bite at all
  15. All your photos look like east TN !!! The Appalachians are littered with smallies
  16. I don’t think I’ve ever caught a fish while sight fishing on a bed. Maybe in a cow pond one time or something. I find it to be far too challenging , hungry fish are way easier and more fun.
  17. @gunsinger, what a weekend! @thediscochef, congrats on the PB smallie buddy!
  18. Hopefully that’s exactly how it goes in the future! But I don’t take it easy on ‘em, they are just good fishermen haha
  19. I did, and caught one!
  20. Never seen the susky but my brother paddles it some and I’ve seen lots of pictures and video I think to shine some light on @ironbjorn’s question, I would say this because we have many similar rivers but not as wide. In shallow rivers, there are few access points. At the access points, the fishing is tougher because everyone else fishes there. To get to the good stuff, you either have to float from point A to point B in a kayak or canoe, or run a jet boat and tear stuff apart. You’re not going to get to the good places on foot because it’s all private property. You could wade maybe a mile in a day but you better bring at least 3 boxes of bandaids because you will be bleeding from the knees down and maybe from knees up too. im assuming by dangerous, @Darnold335 means the river is getting shallower so the risk of smashing into a jagged rock are increased when driving his jet boat. Many of them have sank on the susky
  21. Hahaha! I’d probably have to tell ya over a beer, the leader in the clubhouse so far has been known to cast his line out and stare off into space with his rod pointed vertically and the line wrapped all around it. But he can tell you everything about a green heron you ever wanted to know and has spotted 15 alligators so far and caught one of them with 8 lb test moral of the story: we all try way too hard today I threw a monster glide bait type thing in attempt to catch a bigger one and an 11” bass ate it
  22. They are still catching bigger fish than me, even on the doubles
  23. I’ve got 4. So far I’ve been using the third one on the right. It’s got an ultra aggressive action, very wide wobble and runs super shallow. It also casts like a rocket. I’m not certain but I believe there’s a weight transfer inside. I can hear it click when it zooms by my head on the cast, at first I kept thinking I was slapping my co anglers hat bill with it when I heard the click! Haha. I’ve never used a bait with a weight transfer so I’m guessing that’s what the sound is. I’m not too good of a crankbait fisherman but I can typically do some damage trolling them, going to try that very soon with the deeper running one
  24. It could have, but there’s only one way to know for sure
