  1. It’s funny bass spawn for a short period but it’s all bass anglers talk about nearly year round.
  2. They work without trailers too!
  3. My truck never has more than half a tank haha. Granted I have a company truck so mine is only used on evenings and weekends. I usually get 8 gallons, mostly because my brain is weird and I like to track mpg.
  4. Not his in particular but you should see pros tour boats near the end of the season, they use them to their full potential and then go 3-4 levels beyond. Coincidentally, I saw a Suzuki at the tackle shop parking lot today
  5. You must not like catching the bottom as much as I do I always change it when I run out, I stay stuck on the bottom haha. I use backing so I don’t go through the more expensive stuff too quickly
  6. After you spool it up, before you tie a lure on, pull a decent bit of line off and reel it back on. Maybe do it 2-3 times. Even better, if you are on a moving boat or in swift water, let line out and reel it back in. Just got to get the line good and ready for action sometimes
  7. It’s 5 squirrels tied together
  8. I’d probably cut the grass over at @ol'crickety’s VA estate
  9. I’m sure gussy will be there again, I catch a 13-14” smallie bank fishing there on my work route all the time haha. Conditions definitely favor shallow bite but I suppose they did last time as well. It has been 23-24 degrees the last couple nights
  10. Should be about the same, I crossed over that spot today. It’s actually a manmade canal between the two lakes where he won.
  11. Well that’s what I thought it was all this time
  12. I’m going to keep trying spinnerbaits because my photo is listed under the definition of insanity in the dictionary
  13. Lord have mercy what happens when you drop a sinker?? It’s just rolls off the side??? You watch dawg sports on that tv too, don’t lie
  14. Well that’s cool!!! Thanks for translating Kent! Unfortunately me reading those rod models is like reading……. Italian! (See what I did there?) I don’t know anything about them but I have no doubt the BR community will offer plenty of advice
  15. You’re crushing them man, I’m impressed (and slightly jealous) I can catch smallies pretty good in the 40s water temp, 50s it’s like they all disappear and 5 billion white bass show up
  16. Don’t forget tournaments, these bass that live 5-10 years can’t withstand 50 years of bass tournaments. Oh wait you mean they already have and are now larger?? Well…..
  17. Pretty awesome tourney for him, I like his stuff
  18. Small ponds always produce the biggest bass from what I’ve seen. You can fish 3 lifetimes and never catch a 10 lber on my home lake. Usually only takes a day or two on cow ponds, my buddy had one growing up that was darn near automatic too many mouths to feed as well as other species in big rivers/lakes
  19. Turn the box upside down and the 9 becomes a 6!
  20. Beware of the auto stow/deploy . I know one guy that had it deploy on the highway and another had it deploy while the boat was on plane. Both resulted in trolling motors turned into candy canes
  21. Probably can’t play in the nba with cowboy boots either, wouldn’t help much
  22. well yeah, just listen to it……
  23. I’ve done well with the crawdad looking one on a shaky head
