  1. I mean…… that’s kind of the motto that founded our country
  2. My cousin got my papaws 1948 ford gasoline tractor to start up the other day. Don’t make em like they used to
  3. Pollsters will probably elevate Penn state to the top spot for losing 😂
  4. Fish don’t go to open water for sanctuary. They eat stuff out there (including my topwater)
  5. Update on the sauger I posted…….. Two fish fed 3 of us and I took leftovers home. Those things are meaty !
  6. I still have empathy for the guy, I’ve done plenty of stupid things that could have gotten me killed. When it’s all said and done, would you rather be critical or empathetic? Same result either way, you can’t punish a dead man
  7. Got out with an old friend after work, somehow got two nice sauger with a tube in the same spot. Wasn’t fishing for those but I’ll take it !!! Sauger was my grandma’s favorite fish so we are taking them to moms house tomorrow for a meal of delicious nostalgia
  8. They’ll give me one every two years, hopefully forever
  9. They are a breeze. That’s one thing insurance companies will approve for me since my brother had colon cancer
  10. @HawkeyeSmallie, I go to the doctor, they recommend the tests. Then high dollar insurance policy denies them
  11. @Bandersnatch, those complaining about musky just need to go fishing with @T-Billy
  12. Electro fishing only samples the top of the water column, it really doesn’t tell you much in a lake other than a small sample of what’s there. Decent size class data but the fish can get away from it . Its warm water application is mainly for private ponds. It is fairly effective in trout streams when doing 3 pass depletions. I participated in these for an entire summer in the great smoky mountains national park. We shocked nearly every brook trout stream in a half million acres, probably only killed 5-6 trout on accident. For 100m sections, we would get 50+ fish the first pass, maybe 20 something the second time, and rarely more than 10 on the third pass. And that’s knee deep water blocked off with nets on both ends, you still don’t catch them all
  13. I’d much rather have a river fish than anything at captain Ds
  14. @Swamp Girl, balboa’s got nothing on Marciano 😂 in the ring anyway, don’t know about in the water haha
  15. Zoysia is very good at at pushing other species out, I’ve never had to spray or pull a single weed. My only maintenance is pushing a lawn mower. I was also imported from Switzerland and England so I’m not mad about where my grass came from 😂
  16. Thanks @Bazoo, that fish fought like rocky Marciano
  17. Went out with a buddy after work. He got a yellow perch, I got a dink SMB. After several more dink hits, I decided to tie on a popper/walker and bomb it into the dead center of the river. First cast KABLOOEY!!! Got a nice 17.5 inch SMB. Third cast got one a tad smaller. That was worth the price of admission!
  18. We’d all love to be checked for everything, problem is always the checkers don’t wanna check. 💰
  19. My lawn is zoysia, can’t imagine it being European. It only grows in the hot sun and most other lawns are Bermuda grass

There are lots of possums in every area 😂. Those things can’t get get out of traffic so their life strategy is just make more possums . I’ve seen one with a litter of babies on her back and a younger litter in the pouch.
