  1. I was kind of thinking what Dwight said, the cover may be contributing to the problem. I haven’t cleaned up mold in a while, had some in a basement on block wall I scrubbed with bleach and we used to use simple green and a brush on boat seats when I was a kid. it’s been hot and dry here lately, if that continues in your area that will obviously help. how long have you been battling it?? I know it rains a ton up the east coast
  2. We also have the 12” regulation and a daily limit of 5, but can’t keep painted or anything except common snapper. . I haven’t caught a snapper in ages, but I catch soft shells all the darn time. They are quite the pest when catfishing. I’m going to get my in-laws to make me some soup one day, they catch big snapping turtles out of the maumee river and eat them
  3. Haha! light you’re eyeballs up. That reminds me……. My grandpa was working on a tiller once when I was a kid. The details are a little fuzzy in my memory but he wanted to see if it was getting spark. After a while he just grabbed the plug and told me to pull the cord. I said “are you sure papaw?” And he nodded. The next thing I know, sweet ole papaw said quite the string of expletives, might have been the first time I heard him cuss. Me and my brother were trying hard not to laugh but we failed
  4. I looked up the regulations, snapping turtle is the only one I can legally harvest in my state. I think I’ll stick to eating bass! Haha. Like @slonezpsaid, it’s a lot easier to peel a fish
  5. Out of curiosity, Which lake is closest to your driveway ?
  6. Thanks ! Luckily that zoysia grass was there when I bought the house. The only work I have to do is cut it. It turns 100% yellow the first time it gets cold but that’s fine by me Hahah! I have done that in the past with some diagonals. Been kind of lazy this year, just mow as fast as possible then hook up the boat
  7. I don’t need anything bad enough to order it directly from Japan, sounds like a lot of hoops to jump thru. I buy Chinese junk in America with paper money
  8. That was brave!!
  9. We have lots of earthquakes in the mountains, how do you think they formed ? Haha the funniest one I recall had it’s epicenter in the neighborhood I was living in. You could literally feel it rumble from one end of the house to the other. My roommate walked outside and looked up in the sky and said “it’s not even raining” hahahajah. He thought it was thunder
  10. I went to college and still have to do that, while looking for a snake I do have the right to fire a customer at any time though haha
  11. Get ‘em!!!
  12. I climbed into mine the other day after swimming around for a long time. I don’t kayak or canoe far from shore if the water is cold enough to kill me
  13. There’s lots of female anglers that catch lots of nice fish, even Muskie and huge salt water fish. They just post a lot more frequently on other forms of media like instagram
  14. Do you use a snapping turtle? All the ones I catch are soft shell and not legal for harvest. And they bite really hard, even though people don’t call them snappers haha. also I’ve seen someone clean a turtle, it took forever. My in-laws in Ohio fish for and eat snapping turtles quite often
  15. We caught all kinds of little fish last night
  16. The only one I’ve had wasn’t bad but it wasn’t delicious
  17. I think this is the waterfall from the movie last of the mohicans
  18. And an excellent snack if you forgot to bring one! nah probably not
  19. You measure them all, we know you ain’t fudging the stats
  20. Believe me this drink would kill it
  21. We passed it around the room to get everyone’s comparison and that was the consensus. I do think I somehow finished it, probably have a kidney stone now
