  1. Fish it all til ya learn the best spots
  2. Had some fun this morning in my wife’s kayak, got the TN triple crown (LM, SM, and spot, not quite as elaborate as the Georgia slam because I just made it up……) plus a few more largies that were tiny and a small walleye . I had one nice bass grab my worm while I was reeling it in and jump off, looked like a 2-2.5 lber.
  3. Did anyone fish Lake Barkley ?
  4. Short paddle Sunday yesterdays adventures paddling near the dock then going up into the mtns
  5. You’ll teach them a lesson next season!
  6. I’m with ya man, wool socks always seem to help
  7. @Eric 26, I’ve always been a big fan of the “little sumpin “
  8. Those look like you could stomp thru some swamps! If only your turkey season was a tad longer
  9. I think the FFS is almost always hard on the TN river because of all the other fish that show up on it. Like on wheeler lake last year, the ole dragging tactic won it. Gussy and Jacob wheeler on guntersville are the only times I recall somebody running away with the minnow shaking
  10. He was hitting the buzzer beater for the guys wearing the coats with the tails 😂
  11. Over big shot Bob with 7 finals rings? Come on now……
  12. @Smirak, I’d be tempted to name them the regulator family
  13. Didn’t you watch Robert Horry?
  14. I’ve had them swim by a 14 foot boat parallel and they were the same length. Also heard them growling and got a serious case of the heebie jeebies . Crank the volume and enjoy
  15. Mine only quit working when I smash them into a log at hi speed…….
  16. Who’s on first? a ditch is a ditch that got flooded when they built the dam. A creek channel proper will typically have a name on a map and a meander before it reaches the reservoir
  17. Caught a topwater plug with a topwater plug! Nice.
  18. I saw her at the classic one year, she’s a lightweight, the right size for being nimble on a kayak. I’d guess I surpassed her weight when I was in 4th grade 😂
  19. Turtles will also eat them after they are dead they shot the world record gator right near where I camp in Alabama. Just a little feller. The lady shot it with a 20 gauge, first time it took off like wild and dragged their boat into a stump https://www.fieldandstream.com/stories/hunting/predator-hunting/story-behind-sci-world-record-alligator
  20. Spreading disease and bacteria. Everything has its place
  21. I wore good socks with them so not bad at all, granted sweat is a part of life in southern Alabama, even on Christmas 😂 . I’m guessing you’d be fine in Missouri on a rainy day. Then again I’ve seen guys wear similar style boots way out in the ocean off the coast of FLA in bright sunshine.
  22. Got to try these out in the constant gulf thunderstorms of southern Alabama last week, kept my feet dry all week. I could hear the words of Lieutenant Dan echoing in my ears, “take care of your feet!” Not only were they dry but quite comfy and stick to the boat surface well.
  23. I am going to invent a livewell that dispenses ice instead of water and retire. Oh no I’ve said too much…….
