  1. Country singer Sammy Kershaw takes it one step further and stays away from "politics, religion, and her." My favorite line from that song: "one more topic I won't touch, that ones her it hurts too much"
  2. I like it in summer and hate it in winter, so I guess I agree with you?
  3. None of them....... I'm the opposite of a gear head .
  4. Depends on which boat. In a kayak I usually take one small box. In a canoe maybe 3 boxes. In my river boat maybe 3 boxes and a bag o' stuff. In my center console, a bunch of BS!
  5. For me, it's the lack of daylight
  6. ^theres another reason not to use braid/leader. Math and statistics are involved. If I have to consider standard deviation while fishing, then I'm doing it wrong
  7. Braid makes everything take longer, even without a leader. No need for knife or scissors with mono. Leaders take up time. No line lasts forever, if you are switching lures it all gets too short at the same rate. If I make a list of pros and cons, it's all cons for braid except no stretch for fishing heavy grass . All cons and only one pro, no thanks.
  8. People who think smallmouth eat anything and aren’t line shy should try to catch these fish. My best is a strike king bitsy tube on 1/8 oz round ball head . If that doesn’t work I try dead sticking a weightless fluke. The only ones I’ve ever successfully dropped on were sitting on bottom. Suspended fish I back off and cast.
  9. I guess that’s slightly better than contracting the virus.
  10. Great story, I have camped at McFarland park
  11. @JediAmoeba, you sir deserve a bulk discount
  12. There were a bunch, several people that got eliminated had a 5 or 6 in their largest fish column
  13. Can’t wait til 1 more hour of fishing after work!!
  14. I’d say get a new one, a used one, and a couple kayaks and a canoe. I love boats
  15. Ouch! Well I guess I meant smaller compared to the elites edit: just checked another local forum and someone weighed in 26.7 lbs in a dreamchasers 3 fish tournament on chickamauga with a 12.65 kicker . The pictures are ridiculous
  16. Yea I think one competitor said in an article somewhere that he caught 15-20 non scoreable bass in a period. Or maybe a day but a lot of small ones either way not being counted
  17. Its ok you will forget who won by the time it airs. Heck I watched the miracle on ice the other day and I kept thinking the Soviets were going to make a comeback.....
  18. Pawroznick would win that too. Cannonball!!!!!
  19. They should just use length
  20. And they will have the classic there in a couple weeks and 20 pounds a day might be good enough to win. Kind of makes you wonder, The biggest bags are always in the smaller tournaments
  21. If you get attacked by a snapping turtle in the middle of the night , I’ll give you $1000
  22. Excellent advice , I always have mine tied to the cleat on the bow ready to throw. Unfortunately I don’t think it would have helped in this tragedy as it’s about 85 feet deep and raging where they got sucked over. Maybe they could Have lassoed a Tie up on a wing wall or something, worth a shot
