  1. “Just call the man, aunt Bea!”
  2. Nice ones! I have the exact same results when fishing. Moving baits typically zero, plastic worms load the boat
  3. Drag???? We don’t need no stinking drag!!!! If the fish feels big, click over to backreel for spinning and push the button for bait casting. Viola, “custom drag”
  4. Flying squirrels are nocturnal, I catch them out of people’s attic all the time and they never knew such a creature existed, much less lived above their ceiling. I also live near a boundary of water moccasin and armadillo in East TN
  5. Yes in Alabama. The water is like 90 degrees when we go there, their metabolism is cranking. There’s no size limit , it was about a 3 pounder that ate a 3/4 lber. Well tried to eat, the tail was still sticking out of its mouth. Fish were in the livewell for supper, not to weigh in
  6. My first guess would be occupation related stress
  7. I wouldn’t want to be in charge of getting the one back from the eagle nest

@Jermination, I have a video of my buddy trying to get one of those off the floor of an aluminum boat, it’s wildly inappropriate but man those things are fast!!!
  9. My house is near the water but not that close! (Hopefully). This attorney jumped off a bridge in downtown Chattanooga and they didn’t find him until 19 days later 122 miles downstream https://newschannel9.com/news/local/longtime-chattanooga-attorney-found-dead-in-alabama-along-tennessee-river

And they were all yellow........... man I hate Coldplay
  11. I have yet to catch one with it so my advice is useless but 12 lb mono is what I’ve been chucking it on , like all other lipless baits
  12. I don’t think mine was a laser but my motor guide wireless was nothing but trouble . I had the plastic gears rebuilt once and about a year later they wore out again. Repair man took me to the back of his shop and there were 10-12 trolling motors just like mine that he was working on. I got a different motor after I saw that . That being said I may be able to help by memory. The foot pedal (I think) was left and less power on the left and right and more power on the right. The keychain thing was nice to have , maybe put a new watch type battery in it
  13. Sometimes they like it fast, sometimes they like it sitting still. Never fish any lure only one way
  14. It’s delicious!!!!
  15. They have axles at places like tractor supply and northern tool and equipment. Also anywhere that works on semi trailers can do all the work for you. There’s a lot around Knoxville with the word “trailer “ in the name of their company
  16. If you’ve never been grounded on chickamauga then you haven’t fished it much
  17. 5 pm when I got off work yesterday....
  18. It was sunny and almost 70 degrees so I had to go for about 40 minutes after work . Current was ripping well over 40k cfs
  19. Here’s some flack!!! Jigs are the only thing you can fish in the late summer/early fall vegetation around here. That or a frog, everything else gets gobbed up in it
  20. Logs and he reeled in a floating dock by the steel cable ! It was no match for the Fluoro and fairy wand
  21. I saw that too! Hilarious video, especially how he dubbed the chewy voice in when the bass would jump
