Don’t know much about KY but from what I hear Cumberland and laurel are good spots. Fort Loudon where they just had the bassmaster Classic this year is full of smallies but then again I guess every lake in east and middle Tennessee is full of them. I don’t fish topwater much in November but I bet it would work. October is usually still hot so topwater would better in that month I would think. Our lakes fall fast that time of year (except the main river lakes) so the smallies like to suspend a bit offshore and follow shad

I’ve launched myself into the water hitting them with the trolling motor. I was standing up there looking over the edge for stumps! Haha. I’ve also wedged my boat on top of them where it took several minutes to spin off. The simple answer to your question is “very slowly and carefully.”

Nice fish! My girlfriend can’t tell a largemouth from a smallmouth. Normally I can’t understand why but those two fish make me understand. Let’s see a pic of this jig/spinner. Like an under spin?

Funny you would say that, the stench stays in leather longest when one fires off. My boots, belt, and wallet always smell the worst. Ive had to replace a lot of wallets! Already caught one skunk so far this morning, he's riding around town with me calmly so far

We don’t have many floating docks at our ramps because of the massive water level fluctuations . There’s a few of them they attempted to build still drifting around out there somewhere ......

Believe it or not I would say I spend $50 or less a year on clothing and most of it is for hats. So I guess that shows how much I care about what people think. I have a similar sized brother 3 years my senior and a nasty job so I get almost everything free and am expected to look like I just came out of a rat infested crawl space (because I just did!)

Don't know about fishing jerseys but from what I have observed you may not, under any circumstance, ride a bicycle without a jersey full of sponsors. I see over 60-70 every Saturday morning and there's no way every single one of them is a pro with multiple sponsors....... Edit: 5 minutes after I typed this I'm eating my sandwich in my work truck in a parking lot. A guy cycles right behind me in a full sponsored jersey, all by himself. If hes in a competition he is either winning or losing by several miles....

I would rather fish open water than near the bank, seems like the big ones are out there. Spoons and flukes on a jig head are my favorite for chasing fish. Dragging a tube or Shakey head for bottom fishing

Lift and drop , usually on or near the bottom. They almost always eat it when it's falling and it falls fast so keep the line tight when it's falling

I’ll keep some open water year round fish pics posted up for you this year to make you feel a little warmer! Actually for some reason I have the desire to ice fish, but I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat about walking on a frozen lake.
