  1. I forgot to add: dont believe the forecast
  2. Magellan makes good stuff but the weather is not very foul here. I would invest the most in an outer shell that wont leak
  3. @Jigfishn10, a swivel on a worm??
  4. Deep winter smallmouth is probably my favorite thing ever. I use basically two setups : 1) spinning rod with 6 lb mono. Lures are all on a 1/8 oz ball head jig. Bitsy tube, 2.5 inch gulp minnow, 2.5 inch paddle tail shad grub, or zoom finesse worm. 2) baitcaster with 10-12 lb mono. Lures are spoon, blade bait, rattle trap, or suspending jerkbait
  5. Ive got nothing. Still a couple months left though
  6. Im starting to think its just not the best lure for where i live. The river near my house is all logs
  7. Ive tried them everywhere i can think, its useless near weeds thats for certain
  8. I’ve caught them when it was 33, I think you’ll be fine at 73
  9. Never use them. I put split rings on spoons and blade baits
  10. Didnt write them down. Nothing different than usual
  11. Ha! Not sure but ive heard the water flows inward into these billabongs that terminate. In my neck of the woods theres a whole lot of water underground. Lots and lots
  12. I’d pay $30 to catch that many!
  13. Mountain hardware! I’ve had two of them in my entire life, one is the jacket im wearing in my avatar. You can stand under a waterfall in these and stay dry, ive tried it! Rain jacket is the one piece of gear I will spend some money on (although my current one was a gift) because I live in a rainforest. I’ve heard the smoky mountains area is the 3rd rainiest place in the US behind Hawaii and Seattle
  14. All waterways go somewhere and flow in an out of each other. Unless you live in Australia
  15. I try them all the time and nothing ever blows up..........
  16. It deployed while he was running. Ive heard of it happening going down the highway too
  17. If you dig a hole and it fills up with water, bass will end up in it, in the eastern US anyway. From what I understand, bass are not native to California so i wouldnt think the DNR is stocking them anymore
  18. I would probably call them and ask about it. Or take it apart and try some grease
  19. I have both but the canoe is best for 2 people. If you flip it, dont waste energy trying to get back in. Get you butt to dry land!
  20. I have found that its better for me to just sleep after it gets dark. Winter would be the perfect time for night fishing because its dark at 6 pm but the idea of night boating in cold water sounds pretty dangerous
  21. I get plenty of bites with drop shot but rarely hook one. What am i doing wrong?
  22. Praying for you now
  23. Yeah that was ridiculous
  24. Nice ones @Bluebasser86! Theres a blanket of baitfish thick enough to walk on everywhere i go and i cant hardly catch a bass so .......
