  5. Why should pros be scared of a tough bite and why should anyone cow down to an internet comment section ? many pros and fans alike enjoy a grinder. Also, 22 lbs by noon is not a tough bite anyhow

  11. Guess I’m getting old, I remember when flipping sticks were a new development 😂
  12. That’s the kind the customers always called “albino” even tho they have a black face and a black belly haha. I caught 9 true albino raccoons but never an albino skunk. Yet somehow everyone called almost every skunk albino 😂 it’s easy to co exist with a skunk unless you have dogs. Granted I’ve got 3 dogs and have never had an issue at my house, fence helps keep them from chasing them too often
  13. I only had two as a youngster that died, Bandit and Odie. Bandit looked like Lassie but had a robber/raccoon mask on, hence the name. That was back before leash laws, she was a tough customer highly revered in the neighborhood pack. Then we got odie, an English springer spaniel I believe. He was not too bright, got hit by 19 cars but never seriously injured by any of them. 11 of the 19 were UPS trucks. Then we moved into a condo that had a leash law and Odie was having NONE of that , little fella couldn’t be contained. Mom ended up giving him to a friend with a cattle farm, boy he sure loved that. The day we dropped him off he of course rolled in cow poo. The lady that lived there vacuumed out his dog bed daily and took him along to check all the fences.
  14. @Fishlegs, how’s he doing?
  15. Had a fun, productive trip after work despite the best efforts of the rowing club. I offered them $20 to go somewhere else after their fleet of a dozen row boats plus Jon boats at half throttle passed my me for the 10th time back and forth. Caught 4-5 bass and 4 crappie, with two of the crappie being keepers . Not bad for 1.5 hours! Also saw a pretty sunset. The mistake I made was leaving my canoe in the back of my truck all night and it snowed, was a little heavy this morning 😂
  16. Congrats!! Rumor has it that its hard to get a bite during the day on dale hollow during summer
