Interviews before takeoff sounded like there is a lot of empty beautiful water and the boats are all grouped up. Some said water was dirty and vegetation was lacking this is always funny to me, if you want to see lacking vegetation come to where I live, it’s almost total zero

They said we didn’t have them in TN for a long time but a few folks have had them show up around middle and west TN so I guess we’ve got them now. I wouldn’t mind never seeing one 😂

I never go out without a lure in the water unless I’m paddling too fast to troll or hammered down throttle on plane if I’m watching my graph I’m trolling a plug. Don’t have a graph on front of motor boat and don’t have any graphs on paddling vessels I like reeling in fish way too much to leave my hooks dry

Smoker is fun but does take patience the way I like to do it. Which is stand outside and chop wood as the fire needs it and drink beer a lot of friends have electric smoker, set it and forget it. They have smoked food when they get home from work I have a buddy with a big deep grill you can toss wood into, he just gathers hickory sticks laying around the yard and grills with it , makes delicious hamburgers and hot dogs and doesn’t take long

There are lots of places out there, never heard of that city. After a quick Google search, looks like @Blue Raider Bob might be able to help! Priest, center hill, old hickory, Caney fork would be a good start. If you’ve got time go to dale hollow, it’s amazing

Like @Tennessee Boy said, the problems they experienced were a long while back, fishing is good now. There has still never been a single juvenile Asian carp found so they aren’t reproducing. I wouldn’t say the population of carp is growing
