My buddy went to santee cooper a few years ago, he said it was the only cypress tree lake he’s ever fished with clear water. He also reported seeing big bass swimming all around his canoe 😂

Got out on the home waters after work. Quite swift but managed a couple, one was 2.20 lbs which is pretty large for a white bass. Got one with the new st croix spinning combo and one with the not so new st croix mojo bass and seviin reel. The baitcaster is spooled with seaguar JDM braid 33 lb and 12 lb seaguar pounce leader. It was bombing a 1/4 oz jighead and original fluke. The leader is still on there from the weekend and holding strong. Didn’t really need it for this application but didn’t bother cutting it off. Only one more sleep until daylight savings!!!
