I fish them with all different size weights depending on the conditios. They work well without weight too, and not just stick baits. Topwater worm fishing is very fun

I go on a family fishing trip memorial day week with my best friends family. They have done this for about 50 yrs straight and I think I have gone for 17 or 18 years. We actually shot a commercial about the trip that aired for a while on a country music channel, might still. We fish the alligator infested swamps of South Alabama, pretty wild place. All of this to say, I totally understand your excitement. I'm a little giddy myself.......

@Brian Schram, never seen so much negativity about a fish. If I haven't said it yet, congrats on your catch of a lifetime. Hold those things however you want and tune out the negative. Looking at a picture of a fish does not allow anyone to say how much it weighs.

I wish I would have ran into you at Bass pro, I have giant bags of 2.5 inch hand pour swim baits that are as good or better than the kietech (according to my single line sampling research). I was a good ways below Cherokee dam on the holston river Saturday and got a nice smallmouth, might have checked out the weigh in had I known y'all were in town

The lakers and Celtics alone have won something like half of all championships, so there hasn’t been a ton of parity in the past. Throw in spurs and bulls and it seems 4 teams have won nearly all championships. the future is looking very bright in Boston when Hayward and Irving return from injury, the next several years could just add to the Celtics history

You are correct that WV quarterback has already beaten the vols once when he was at Florida, although he was later kicked off the team for performance enchancers. There is no telling what the TN football team will look like coming off the worst season in school history. And it’s and ooooooold school.........

I prefer bass over crappie just because a bass has big flaky meat where crappie just falls apart, sometimes even before you cook it. I love cooking largemouth bass for people and not telling them what it us until after they have already proclaimed it's the best fish they have ever eaten. I've never had anyone say that about a catfish or a trout. Also several studies have found hatchery fish to have higher contaminant levels than wild fish. Usually this is because they feed hatchery fish ground up wild fish and they have no diversity in their diet. In my opinion, y'all can keep your supermarket fish from China and I'll eat out of the river

@Sam, I know you love watching Tennessee lose but they eliminated your beloved bayou Bengals from the sec softball tournament yesterday. Now I'm not saying I'm a huge follower of the softball team but the girl that pitched a CG shutout is from my hometown of Maryville. I would rather see some revenge in football or baseball but I'll take what I can get.......

Sounds like a place NOT to set foothold traps. A collarum trap is pretty good at catching only coyotes and is what we use in urban areas. My small dog digs under my fence constantly but I live in the city so the neighbors always catch him
