We were projected to get around 1” in my area and 4” closer to the lake. We ended up with 4” at my house. Like @gim, it started off a rain, then freezing crap, and finally snow so everything is plastered to all structures like superglue. The wind was really howling. It’s not too bad this morning but is supposed to pick back up as the day progresses. Saturday, we’re supposed to get another snow event. It’s here whether we want it or not.

Wednesday for us is supposed to be crappy. Rain then rain snow mix with winds 30-40 mph.

Of the Med flight taking me away? It wouldn’t be an extended thing, one quick play is about all this out of shape boy could handle. A few years back another dad and I played baseball with our boys and a few others for a couple hours. We were texting a few days later, “I can barely walk” “It feels like my hamstring is going to snap” 😂

Me as the tackle dummy nope! Me and him going head to head, you betcha! I’ve got quite a bit of weight on him and I played hockey so I’m not afraid to drop the shoulder. I’d probably regret it in the morning and for the next week. 😂 We still wrestle around much to the dismay of momma bear and her house. I still whoop him bust just barely.

Atta boy @Jigfishn10. I have Thanksgiving tomorrow so I’m betting a good boy. Tomorrow, game on!!!

I/we didn’t get out as much as I would’ve liked to but do we ever? The great thing about this season, my favorite lake has been producing dinks the past few years which was a major bummer. This year for whatever reason we found some decent sized bass which reignited my love for that lake. All and all, it was a decent season.

Not only are most of these features unnecessary, but how much do they add to the cost of a vehicle, they also add a ton to repair costs like a lot of you have mentioned. It’s all for nothing everyone, these safety features save on your auto insurance. 🙄 That’s a racket in itself.

I’ve heard a few people say they have put a major hurting on the deer population in Michigan’s UP. Some friends of ours have property up there and showed me trail cam footage of a pack of 9 running on their property. They (the humans) target bear up there but said they rarely see deer. He was told a story of a guy up there who was so tired of the state doing nothing about the wolf mess, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He trapped a couples wolves, loaded them on a cattle trailer and hauled them down here and released them. Seems highly unlikely but, there was a wolf shot south of me a couple years ago by a hunter who mistook it for a coyote. I too would love to see one in person. I don’t want a population of them down here destroying the deer population though.

@gim do you ever try rattle antlers, doe pee, mock scrapes? I’ve tried rattling a few times with no luck. I did bad a nice 9 point one year after making a mock scrape. Just wondering if anyone has success with bringing in deer besides just waiting.
