  1. I have no doubt my best years are ahead of me! Life is and has been busy with raising a son and everything that goes with that. He’ll be 16 in July which means he’ll be driving so no more taxi cab driver for me. As the years move on, my free time will be more plentiful.
  2. I’m not much of a spiritual person. That being said last August when I lost my dog Hank we got home from the vet the night we put him down. I look out our back window and there’s a big Cardinal looking towards the house. I absolutely lost it! The next day, there were two male Cardinals and a female in the same spot. We lost Hank, Henry (cat), and Lola all within a year and a half. It’s not like we never see Cardinals out back, I just thought it was weird that there was one right there as soon as we got home from the vet. For those wondering, Cardinals are believed to be a sign of a past loved one or pet checking in to let you know they’re ok.
  3. If I’m moving from spot to spot and it’s not far, I’ll go full speed on the TM and throw out crank out and let it go to work. We’ve caught a few pike doing this. When I was a teen my best friend and I used to troll around on his parents pontoon catching bass pretty regularly.
  4. I’ve not heard about it but that’s a dandy northern largemouth!
  5. Nice looking spinner baits @Mbirdsley !
  6. The real question, how’d you place in the tournament?
  7. Just drive on the grates so it pulls you back and forth….makes for a fun time and you get your monies worth. 😂
  8. Checking out the Deep Dive App and their satellite views. With the ability to look back 30 days and using other features like stream flows where you can look ahead up to a week, along with the wave impacts, you can dial in your next trip! The images below are the Straight of Mackinaw. You can see 14 days ago they still had plenty of ice around and the second image was 6 days ago and the ice was gone.
  9. Things are slowly getting back to normal down here as well. The rivers are still swollen but are getting better every day. The lakes really needed the extra water and as crazy as it sounds, some of the lakes are still low.
  10. So sorry for your loss.
  11. I don’t need Bassresource.
  12. As much as I’d like a break once in a while, that was a bit much! 😂
  13. @HawkeyeSmallie you need to. It’s a blast! I prefer it over deer hunting.
  14. Nice work @Dwight Hottle
  15. Apparently you forgot to hit send when you were emailing me the invite @Glenn . 😁
  16. According to the recommended add, you haven’t passed.
  17. That’s not BR related. It may be on BR but it’s an ad banner on your end. I get wonky ads too but I think yours takes the cake! 😂
  18. So sorry to hear that. That’s absolutely terrible and heartbreaking. We had to put two of our dogs down a week apart so we know what you’re going through.
  19. Well done sir. And congrats on surviving a backflip! 😁
  20. Just a random image I pulled off the internet so you can get a visual.
  21. It’s refreshing hearing some good new country music coming out. His sound is straight out of the 80-90’s country era.
  22. I turned the AC on a couple days ago when it was 80 to take some moisture out of the house. Woke up to it 59 in here this morning. Now the heat is on to take the chill out. 😁
  23. @Mbirdsley I was really hoping I’d scroll down and see a brown bass out of Crystal. I haven’t fished it much and I’ve yet to get a brown bass out of there but was hoping someone would have better luck at it.
  24. 6poundbass of course. I’m glad he caught the fishing bug. He’s also my hunting buddy. The Mrs. Likes to get in on the action once in a while too.
